Looking forward to it , remember them putting on a fireworks display one bonfire night game that looked impressive over the woodland behind the stadium . It can’t be worse than that fucking remote control lorry
Don't remember that one but I do remember when Barry Rubery's fireworks nearly took out Ian Rush as he ran on to the pitch. Could have been an expensive insurance claim if we'd killed him..!

I used to live in a place in sheepridge with a perfect view of stadium, it looked quite weird when the Giants did it and that's from a distance. Our floodlights are among the brightest in the game, take your dark glasses or stay on concourse!! You'd be used to flashing lights in Sheepridge. 😉 |

They're definitely trying to ramp up the 'experience'. Correct me if I'm wrong Rambo but I even sensed a tone shift in pre-match on Saturday? I think there is a place for some of this stuff such as the videos on screen, branding around the ground - but I think they're getting the timing all wrong at the moment given the ground is the emptiest it's been in years. They'd be better holding their water on this stuff and introducing it if/when things pick up, because at the moment it all feels a bit desperate. |

Loads of grounds do it. The kids enjoy it. Some people enjoy the effort. If the Victor Meldrews don’t like it then jump on a different more depressing thread. Totally agree but can you direct me to less depressing thread because at the moment sadly they are all so depressing . T |
