Preston have dropped away recently but picked up a point and clean sheet at Norwich on Saturday. We're looking to go 5 unbeaten but need to start turning draws into wins.

Big big game for me this really.with Millwall on same points, been away at Leicester and then us playing them Saturday 3 points could go a long way. Sorba back in and Jackson too if fit.Wiles and ward to drop to the bench.

Big game really - should be a game under usual circumstances I think we'd win if we had less injuries etc, we're now 2 points off relegation and there's a couple of teams down there picking up results. I think Preston will turn us over given how little depth in attack we have and current tactics been employed by the coaches. Can't see it been a big score but can see them winning by a couple.

Surprising that from 15 votes to date, none had gone for the draw ! So that's my call given the form book.

For the 1st time since NW departed the bookies have Town as one of the three relegation favourites below buoyant QPR who look to have a midweek home banker v Plymouth, if so anything less than a win will most likely see us drop into the bottom three......Same defensive set up since Watford & probable same result (unless Aug/Sept PNE turn up), 0-0.

Think we’ll lose this one but it won’t be a hammering. PNE are always well organised and will probably have too much for us. Wonder what the actual crowd will be? Likely the lowest in some time for a league game I suspect.

3 points required tomorrow night we need to take the game to them and start fast.
Maxwell
Pearson Helik Lees Jackson Headley Hogg Kasumu Sorba Koroma Delboy
If Jackson not fit, Wiles or Ward come in, with Sorba Wing back.

The odds on Town winning v PNE are improved dramatically by the fact I won’t be at the game. Unfortunately I just ordered my ticket online for Millwall on Saturday.

Likely play for 0-0, might be 1-1. It's dull and depressing but we're a professional sports gamblers dream.

I’m probably one of many who can’t even be arsed to attend tomorrow night. Got absolutely soaked on Saturday and don’t fancy watching us with 20% possession for 90 minutes getting soaked again. Will be amazed if they are 8k town fans there tomorrow night. Forecast looks crap again. Will watch it in the dry and warmth at least can switch it off at half time 😂

Apathy.
What changes the way most of us feel ?
Hope.
We have none at the moment. Moore isn’t changing that, he just stands there. Tactically he missed a trick on Saturday. But he has nothing on his bench.
We have to dig in. KN has promised activity in Jan.
UTT.

Could you explain which trick he tactically missed on Saturday ?

It's a strange one for me really. We have had the gap below closed down, but at the se time we have closed the gap on those above us. It's possible we could draw and we go up a place with stoke and milwall droppimg below us with, us QPR and Plymouth all on 22 pts.

Can we start a separate matchday thread for how much possession we will have, i will go for 24% tonight, which seems a little high. Expansive attacking football either way as Cartwright promised.

Tbf he did say also that Moore improves over time.it was a stupid statement to make though given the squad quality.you can’t play expansive football when you can’t string more than 4/5 passes together without giving the ball away. Possession stats were slightly up on Saturday though 😂 40% which I thought was relatively high given the second half.in fairness there was a few times we actually strung a couple of moves together but it was a few.I’d imagine he tries to edge towards that again tonight.whether it happens is another thing. No Jackson so maybe sorba right wing back in a 3-4-3 with zorg right ward central and koroma left.although wouldn’t be surprised to see a 3-5-2 as Saturday with wiles in instead of koroma potentially.

I'd like to see an attacking line-up tonight, Preston are in poor form and sit second bottom of the form table over the last 12 games with 9 points.
Maxwell
Lees Helik Pearson
Thomas Hogg Wiles Kasumu Koroma
Burgzorg Ward
Get at them early and test their fragile defence, they've conceded 26 goals in those 12 games.

Can’t see they been many at game tonight we were missing at least 4K on Saturday and it’s looking like another evening of heavy rain. Think Preston might boost the numbers slightly. But who wants to sit there pissing it Down with rain with probably 20% possession. Also on red button.
