The players we need will probably not be available in January as they may well be out of our price range and anyway would good players want to come to such a poor performing side. Our only hope is that loan players are available as we desperately need to improve the squad. I started out thinking Moore could do a job for us but now have come to the conclusion that the players are not playing for him and tactically at times he is inept. In the same boat, I initialy thought and hoped DM would do a decent job. I know the injuries and weak squad doesn't help but he just makes bizarre decisions. I know hes not the sharpest knife in the box but the buck stops with him.

Ive never wanted a manager sacked.....mainly cos it means the club is not doing well.......but DMs football is boring me to tears. Insipid, slow, no pattern etc - hes not got alot to work with but right now i wouldnt be disappointed if he went.

Tough old watch that tonight was bad as I’ve seen for years, I never wanted Moore the replacement for needed to be some who would instantly get the fans onside and look like as a club we were moving forward he wasn’t that and the fanfare they gave him coming in was quite frankly ridiculous. It’s not all his his fault we know the squad has just been left to rot for years with woeful investment and the injury list but Christ he doesn’t help himself, probably the best selection of players he’s had available tonight for awhile and he sets up like that at home to PNE,This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

An 'in the know' poster who I won't call out directly asked me for a list of managers that would have been a better option than Darren Moore? They seemed convinced Moore was a top option. I'm pretty sure he laughed off my opinion that Wilder was a good option, now manager of a Premier League team again. Complete self destruction from a naive new owner. Other clubs must be having a good chuckle at us. Sack Warnock.....bring in Darren Moore. It would be a long fucking list!

It feels like the changes he makes are decided upon 24 hours before the game. Why take off a goalscoring striker when losing 2-1? To save him for Millwall away in 4 days. Why make a like for like switch when Pearson gets a knock? Because Moore can't think outside the box....or his players can only play in one formation? If he wanted to have a real go at getting back in the game how about throwing Iopena on and playing Diarra right back with Thomas in front of him?

I've defintely watched Town teams that are a lot worse than this one, but I'm not sure I can remember any that were as boring as this one is.

Tonight was probably our best starting 11 for a while. But he set us up defensively. Koroma was again doing something he isn't and that is 100% not his fault. He has to go - tonight was the chance to have a go and he didn't. Awful manager. All on nagle and that's where we should focus our criticism. embarrassing night. again. Koroma was 100% at fault for not passing the ball three yards to a wide open player

Not a chance. Ownership have nailed their colours to the mast with Moore. Sadly I think they'll also be naive to the overall detrimental impact this period is having on the fanbase as a whole. Very sad seeing how empty the ground is right now. Thats a strong set of binoculars you've got

Any idea on what attendance was tonight? They’ve claimed 17500 which was definitely nearer 7500.

There is absolutely nothing there that is positive. He is draining the life out of us all.

Up to the owners whether they sack him or not, but I don’t think I’ll be bothering going until he’s gone. Cartwright and Moore need to go for me. The football side of the club is utterly rudderless.

Said he should have January but now he should absolutley go now! Get Mowbray in to shore us up and get a couple of grafters in January! We’ll be safe mid table with him, nothing but down under Moore.

Post on the wednesday board:
Huddersfield sacking Warnock and appointing Moore could yet save our season, ironically.
Says it all really.

Town fans aren't stupid. We know the squad is short and we know it's not an easy job. However Moore is showing us absolutely nothing. We should have been 3 down after 10 mins in the last 2 games. He doesn't change it quick enough and then to compound it he makes subs that actively destroy any momentum we have. Add to that his turgid press conferences and what you get is a fan base who don't want him here. But we all know he will be here regardless come the end of the (probably underwhelming) transfer window. I suspect the transfer window will be overwhelming There will be 3 or 4 key ones wanting out the door

Tony Mowbray 'what the fook'? As in, what on earth has he got that would get us out of this mess? Another totally uninspiring merry-go-round manager. I honestly have no idea where we go from here, but please not there

I suspect the transfer window will be overwhelming There will be 3 or 4 key ones wanting out the door We're currently at stage 3 of the seasonal Town cycle/ downward spiral 1. Sit through a summer window of us getting fleeced in the transfer market, and a pre-season disrupted by a manager change 2. Start the season playing quite badly, then get hit by an injury crisis revealing our shocking squad depth due to underinvestment, and get worse 3. We kid ourselves that the squad will be invested in in January Stage 4 involves a first teamer getting sold unceremoniously for below his true value, followed by an indecisive transfer strategy and getting outfoxed for good players, leaving it late and signing short termers and/or cloggers who don't solve the root problems. Stage 5 so far has involved us surviving by the skin of our teeth. Surely not again...

After being treat to insight from football genius’ like Wagner and Corberan in recent years I can’t help but cringe every time DM speaks. Lovely bloke no doubt but so unbelievably uninspiring. He offers absolutely no meaningful analysis and merely spews out sound bites and cliches whilst repeating himself constantly. Incredible how he has somehow been identified by our hierarchy as the man to take us forward.

I honestly have no idea where we go from here, but please not there I know what means. In regards to TM, wasn’t he sacked when Sunderland were…6th? Finished play offs last year - not the prettiest of football but he can get results and players playing for him. A big like a certain Mr Warnock. Even if it was just till the end of the season we’d be fine with him. Then we can look for better alternatives.
