People at the top, particularly very rich people, never like to admit to making a mistake. Nagle would claw back some already-lost respect if he did the right thing here. My prediction is that he'll actually give Moore a huge warchest for the transfer window in the vain hope of being proven right.

Don’t think Moore knew what he was inheriting. The squad taken as a whole is lower third tier at best. Warnock worked wonders but with a very poor but stronger group than we presently have. No manager is going to get repeated performances out of this group at this level. Fact. Moore recognises that. Try play attacking football and each time the opposition play through us. January is crucial. Sacking Moore right now is not,however difficult a watch it is.

The opposition played through us at will early on in both of the last two games, even though we were employing Moore's deathball defensive tactics. |

Again, folk said the same with fotheringham. Yup. The squad is weak but it's better than he's making it look. Conceding so much possession and playing rivals like they're Man City is unprecedented, even for teams finishing rock bottom. They show in flashes what they're capable of as individuals. The coaching is the weak link. Plus he cant play the injury card any more. Only Rudoni would definitely get in that starting xi last night, and possibly Turton or Ruffles. The rest of the bench however is league 2 / conference level. |

Ipswich at home, before he killed it with daft subs, Southampton home, Sunderland away first half. Next game he goes back to the same boring negative approach. |
