Thank you. I will say this too- the Chairman doesn’t care about “fault” or “blame”. We also have a saying; “the buck stops here”, and that’s how he operates. No ego. What’s the issue What’s the problem How do we fix it Next This owner and his gang created the problem and the issues. What on earth was the logic in Moore? The logic was probably reasonably sound: out of work, recent promotion, decent enough record at previous clubs, nice bloke. The problem is, the club appear to have overlooked so much of what he lacks. Was there any evidence that he could manage a poor squad (one of the worst in the division easily)? As another poster mentioned yesterday, give him a top half squad and he'd probably get you finishing around top half. We don't have that privilege. Did they consider what type of character he is, and what type of much-loved character he was replacing? This is one of the biggest issues for me: I feel absolutely no connection to the bloke. He talks in cliches and jargon. He has no personality that translates to the fans. Has he even come up to the stands to applaud the fans after a game yet? I'm genuinely not sure I've seen him in person other than on the touchline. Town fans don't connect with your run of the mill English managers and the past two decades have shown that our fighting spirit tends to come from the fans feeling a connection with the manager (maybe minus the tactically astute Corberan). Lastly, they've either overlooked or been duped on his style of play. Our crowds were almost at breaking point before Warnock - he salvaged them - but all they needed was a nudge and they'd plummet. The football we play has undoubtedly put many people off (myself included), and this will come back to bite the club over the next few years. I just don't think a bigger picture has been considered whatsoever with Moore. You can tell it's an appointment made by people who don't know the club.

The blokes an absolute magician who knows how to turn water into wine. Let’s face it most of us have watched Town for a long long time and it was still a surprise to many of us that he managed to keep us up. In hindsight we should’ve kept NW (no matter what had gone on) until December minimum to give us enough points to have a fighting chance of survival. Dearly wanted DM to do well but it’s clear that this squad is one of the three worst in the division and it’s going to take some very clever dealing and probably a bit of luck to survive the drop this year.

Moore keeps getting abuse for negativity. I’m not sure that’s the case. Last night he started with 2 upfront and wingers as wing backs. On the face of it a very attacking selection.
I’d say it’s just shit, not boring.

I know Warnock wasn't for the long term but at least keep him here whilst we spent a season building up the squad. In this time do some real work on finding a suitable successor. Moore had just been promoted from L1 with a huge budget and had a squad far superior to anyone else in the division. Who genuinely thought he would do a job here? I haven't met a Town fan that did.

Were Warnock’s possession stats any better? The 3 centre halves are our most consistent players and we don’t have many to choose from. Warnock found a way round it playing Pearson at right back. With zero fit proper full backs i don’t see much of an alternative to 5 at the back.

Tbf last two games the possession stats have been upward of 40,close to 50 last night I think. We just don’t use it very well.plus the attacking wing backs did start 5-10 yards higher.that caused a different problem and in both games they did end up dropping in through necessity. I fully expect a revert back to a flat five the two away games coming up though.

Problem for them is it doesn’t really make sense how good Warnock is at this level, he’s a complete outlier. There was probably a bit of wanting to prove that someone else could do equally as well, which is hard to disagree on the face of it. Unfortunately for us the reality is there is no one else as good as him at getting performances out of ill equipped teams, he’s proved it again and again.

Lets be fair here. justaguy is connected to Nagle and it's fairly obvious who he is from the documentary. His contribution to this board has been very fair, he's tried to correct a couple of things but mostly he is doing what he says, listening to the fans. castlehillterrier has been very pro Nagle and very pro Moore (until last night), but has absolutely no connection to Nagle or the club and just likes to pretend he knows things, as he did when he was posting as HTAFC35. Also, there is no way that everybody at the club isn't aware of the fans opinion of Moore right now. Don't need to read DATM for that. Exactly, I'm sure justaguy is lurking. The other you mention is pretending to be itk and seems to somehow have a lot of people fooled! Not sure whether he really is very pro Nagle or it's all just part of a made up persona. He seems to be part of a plan by 3 posters to spew out pro Hoyle, pro Club, pro establishment propaganda continually in complete contrast to what every normal person can see and think. Trump bot style tactics. I'm quite prepared to believe they are one and the same.

Anyone from the inside taking time to contribute or even read this board should be congratulated. Simply taking the time shows they care and are trying to get a feel of the club. They probably wonder what they have walked into but hopefully they realise it’s a place to rant and we’re not all spoilt brats.
Trying to name posters is something i’ve never understood. All you’re doing is limiting what they can say through fear of comeback. It’s just damages this forum.

My post was in no way a dig at you and Gag N Bone Man mate, but if we're wrong (unlikely as that may be) it can lead to unpleasantness. I realise (from what I've seen/noticed of your two's posts) you wouldn't be doing it with harmful intent anyway.

Thing is we had 47% possession last night and as many shots on target. Passing it around the back looks negative but Preston did it quite a bit as well. The difference was when they broke they did it with numbers and with more quality than us. When they moved the ball out of defence they had players who could keep it moving forward and they got numbers in the our area, we didn't. When Thomas got well forward he was often the furthest player upfield, which makes crosses a bit irrelevant, and I don't know why the others are slow to move with him but it all feels very nervous. I honestly don't think another manager is going to walk in and suddenly turn this group around. We need more quality and I think with that our confidence would grow. I honestly think DM is trying to make us tough to beat, which should be a good start, but even that seems hard with this group.

Justaguy.. it sounds like it was you who said you were hear to listen etc. So please confirm uou are listening and feeding back exactly what the fans are saying after last night. That 1st half performance is the worst yet under Moore, so don't let anyone kid you on that he needs time. He has had plenty of time to get us organised and playing his way.. do not trust him to get it right in January. I don’t mind sharing this part, but I apologize- I can’t expand much further. Every single day we talk about feedback. Every day. Whether it’s here, FB threads, hell I spent quite a bit of time in the post match twitter spaces listening to Ginger Ogre and the many other supporters speaking. I’m certainly not here to change narratives, to defend or offend, just as always to listen and learn. And to the question as to whether or not filters up, I can only assure you it does. Looking forward to boots on the ground 5 January. Take care. PS: we say “cojones” not “kahunas” The only time I remember using kahuna is when talking about someone in charge or important, as in “is that the Big Kahuna”? Carry on That's OK, I'm sure someone with an IQ the size of Townrwe's doesn't mind being schooled 😉😁
