Only two days now, and Town and Darren Moore will be aiming to consign that awful performance against Preston to oblivion.
Can we ease relegation tension slightly, and go into Christmas in good cheer?

I'm the stupid/brave/optimistic one who's voted for a win. Based on the fact that DM can't make the same selection mistakes he made against Preston, otherwise we'll lose heavily and he'll be sacked by Monday.
1. Pick some left footed players to play on the left side of the pitch, especially the left wing back, or full back. To pick Koroma as a left wing back is just stupid, at least on the right he can (attempt to) tackle with with his preferred right foot.
2. Ideally go back to a 3-4-3/5-4-1 formation as it suits the players we have in the squad. We don't have any specialist wing backs capable of being the only player in their side of the pitch in a 3-5-2/5-3-2 formation.

I’m going and, perversely, I’m actually quite looking forward to it. Maybe by 3.05pm on Saturday I’ll be regretting it all. Mind you, my ticket hasn’t arrived yet!
Very occasionally Town surprise us all in a good way and we get an unexpected win. Maybe this Saturday? Unfortunately it’s far more likely I’ll be left disappointed yet again, but we’ll see.
It will be interesting to see, in the flesh, if KN’s message gets any reaction on the pitch.

If both Pearson and jackson are not fit then who knows |

Millwall managed to score 2 goals away at top of the table Leicester last night so it's not too much of a stretch to think they will get at least 2 against a lot worse team on Saturday, sadly I see a 3-1 defeat and more pain for the fans.

Never in my life have I wished defeat on us.
However if a 3-0 defeat means this buffoon gets sacked at 5pm Saturday, I'd take that.
Saying that, I think we'll get spanked 3-0 anyway!
The board should hang their heads in shame - anyone remember our last visit to The Den?!

I say rumours but was more suggestion.That there was a bust up at half time between Moore and a senior player.Someone else suggested it could have been lees as he came off for Yuta.So kind of rumours I guess. no truth in this at all, Tom Lees reiceved a heavy knock just before HT and was unable to come back out second half. I have heard the dressing room was loud on Tuesday night at HT but this what you would want. |

Castlehill - ok the rumours of a bust up at half time may or may not be correct, but as i have heard as have many others the players think Moore is a good guy yes, but him and his coaching staff have not exactly impressed the players and most training sessions puzzle the players at best. |

Depends which Town team turn up imho.
The defensively solid, pragmatic but carrying a threat up top at times one or the utter shambles we've seen mostly in the last 2 home games?!
If he persists with Wiles 10 yds in front of Hogg and Kasumu as he has done when trying to be more offensive then 0-3 cos the system is currently 1 draw 2 defeats and 2-8 in goals.
If he contains but plans for JK/ST and Burgzorg to carry a threat with quick direct running then we might sneak something. Ward surely cant play again on Sat ?!

I hope he doesn’t bow to fan pressure are try be entertaining. We need points i don’t care what it looks like. 2 up front isn’t our thing particularly when our strikers are turd. The worse the game the more chance we have.
Injuries might force 4 at the back which i wouldn’t be against.

I’m not saying he didnt,however he wasn’t mentioned in the press conference today regards injuries.Just that they were waiting on Pearson and ward tomorrow and that Jackson was 50/50. Wasn’t my insinuation that I commented on was merely taking it from another thread. Wouldn’t be a massive leap though to think of something did go off and he was subbed that he was in the mix of it.That’s speculation though I suppose. |
