Millwall have the worst home record in the Championship. What a great game for them to get their season back on track against Darren Moore's Powderpuff town AFC. He'll set-up like we're at the Etihad. and then set-up at the Etihad to have a go…

Love that phrase "consign to oblivion"! Reminds me of the symphonic metal band Epica who named their 2nd album Consign To Oblivion. It's lyrics are inspired by the ancient Maya civilisation but could come in handy for DM giving a halftime team talk if Town are behind by 3 goals. "How can we let this happen and just keep our eyes closed till the end?" "Try to unlearn all that you've learnt, try to listen to your heart" "Open your eyes we're not in paradise. How can't you see this stress is killing me?" Check out the video: EPICA - Consign to Oblivion - Live at the Zenith (Official video). It's truly epic and I swear I spotted Mosher down at the front!
Just given it a listen. Brilliant! Like their sound and that unusual combination of a loud guttural raw from the frontman with the lovely, silky voice of the female singer. Sort of thing that wakes you up on a Sunday morning, for sure - DM should take a boom box and play this song at full volume to the players before they get on the pitch on Saturday. That and an eye opener should counteract the sleeping pills the players seem to have been taking for starting the last two games. Yep, could well have been Mosher in the moshing pit at the front: did you ever mosh in Paris, Mosher? Not heard of these before so i did check it out on Youtube just now. I prefer guitar riffs missen {Judas Priest KK Downing/Glen Tipton} Then girl has a good voice but the backing seemed muddled. Thanks anyway for the tip.

Millwall's LB moves like a slug and their keeper's not up to much. All that Town's players need to know at the pre-game team talk.

I feel today is massively important for DM. The result is always important but perhaps not as important as the performance. Today he needs a credible performance, fail to deliver one and his ever diminishing reputation with the fans will be hanging by a thread.
He's got to find a balance to compete in the middle of the park and keep the ball better. Low block and hoping to use the break won't cut it anymore.

We can win this today if we play on the front foot. The way Millwall have performed at home this season it won't take much for their fans to turn and their players to retreat into their shells. The question is, will Moore see this as an opportunity get a much needed 3 points or will he just get us sitting deep and hoping for a 0-0?

It gets to a time when sometimes I think fuck it , let's lose , get shut and start again before the rot sets in further. The odd draw now and again is just prolonging the situation..

For a team with the worst home record in the division they seem pretty confident we won't cause them many problems. Hope I'm wrong but I agree with them.
Come on Darren, prove us wrong.

Yeah, it's not like the confidence is misplaced. If we play like we did against PNE (aside from the first 15 minutes of the second half when we actually played well) I wouldn't fancy us against many sides in Lg2, let alone the Championship.

The problem Town have is that we can never blood a youngster properly. You should be able to introduce these players in slowly with a stable unit around them. We are constantly shit and dependant on them being brilliant or having to rely on 3 or 4 young players at a time. Goes back to what we've all being saying, the first team needs major investment. There's no shortcuts here. Billing as an example was able to come through alongside Hogg and Mooy. Young players need to be able to come into a functioning team and concentrate on their game, rather than having to produce from the off.

Rudoni back in the squad today 👍🏻 Straight back into the starting 11! Apparently the medical staff have said he’ll be good for 10 minutes or so before he needs subbing After a while out, him starting seems to me to be a reflection of the pressure DM is feeling.

Question why he couldn't make the bench the other night though? For such a key figure, maybe they just wanted to make certain he was fully fit So he goes from not fit enough to make the bench 4 days ago to been able to start a game? He is either under pressure and decided to throw an unfit Rudoni in from the off, which could backfire. Or he didn't think we would need him against Preston Madrid the other night.

Apparently the medical staff have said he’ll be good for 10 minutes or so before he needs subbing After a while out, him starting seems to me to be a reflection of the pressure DM is feeling. That surely would be the proverbial straw, if he were subbed after 10 minutes and with Town, say, 2-0 down. It would just beggar belief! Going for a win now he's back, though. I've got us down for a 3-1 victory Looks like a strong side to me does that. Just hope the attitude is right!
