Another 'put a glass eye to sleep' performance incoming.
Fair play to the fans going to this one.

Yup, it's a long old trip down to carrot crunching country....it will seem even longer getting back. Sneaky feeling we might get a draw perhaps 1 - 1. More likely to get a pumping, mind.

I have been to Carrow Road a few times to sit behind one of those roof support girders, just as well I couldn't see because I have never come away with even a point. Although I seem to remember Andy Morrison putting us in the lead once - temporarily.

Full game & future predictions -
A mainly solid first half performance but with 2 clear cut Norwich chances ending in glaring misses. Somehow it stays nil nil until 45 mins, but a defensive mix up combined with a goalie mistake lets Rowe score in the second minute of added on time, and Norwich take the lead at half time.
Town come out in the second half happy to try to contain Norwich, with the hope of clinching a goal from a rare attack or a corner. With Town gaining momentum after some promising attacking moves, 2 attack minded players are substituted for a defender and an extra defensive midfielder.
Norwich constantly attack, dominate possession, score goals in the 56th minute, then 76th - and end up winning 3-0 (Rowe 2, Hernandez 1).
Rudoni ends up being sent off for 2 weak yellow card offences late on.
The percentage of fans asking for Moore out increases. The board are still confident in his ability to take us forward. Fans are told to wait until he has the team playing the previously promised fabulous attacking football with his own January signings in the team:
We sign 6 players consisting of: Jordan Rhodes - who will be said to be like a new signing. 1 well travelled free agent we can get excited about. 2 players currently keeping benches warm from teams slightly above us in the same league who - whilst offering more squad depth - are no better than what we have now. 1 premier league loan yet to play any men's football 1 prospect from non league (goalie)
Diarra and Thomas are sold to teams slightly above us in the league, for undisclosed (negligible) amounts, and not replaced.
There is an announcement from the board that during the transfer window we were in talks with 2 decent strikers, but they went to Rotherham and Plymouth for 50p more a week instead, and we can't break our wage structure.
Then a second announcement to do with us not submitting a high enough budget pre season, therefore we can't pay money for anyone.
Results and performances don't improve through January and February. Moore is sacked, leaving us at the bottom of the table and 8 points adrift towards the end of Feb.
Warnock declares interest in returning. 1st things first, Danny Ward contract extension.

I've been 4 or 5 times and the best we've done is a 1-1 draw Jamie Vincent scored that day, the other times we've lost 2-0, 5-0 and 4-1 which David Beresford scored for Town. The place is an absolute graveyard for Town, aside from the Kachunga inspired win in the promotion season we never win there.

I can see an absolute bending over here. Maybe a bending over of a magnitude which ends up being the final straw.

Gone for the defeat but we might nick a draw if we’re at it. A comprehensive 2/3-0 defeat and you’d have to think time will be up for Moore, a drubbing and he’s definitely toast. A few decent managers out of work at present too.

4-0 to Town. Then the alarm clock went off. Probably another hammering but interestingly this is the team who inflicted such a heavy defeat on Town at home our owner thought it was a great idea to blame the manager and team. There followed some brief differences of opinion and we ended up losing our most valuable asset who was replaced with Mr Moore. Since then we have conceded 4 goals on three different occasions once all 4 before half time. No response though from the owner to this along the lines of the original outburst. Might be very interesting on Saturday.

Seen some reet thumpings at Carrow Road, but they all felt worth it for December 2016 when we outplayed a decent Norwich team then in to the city centre bumping in to one group of pissed up Town fans after another.

With our ability to concede early goals as well as late goals we now concede goals in the middle of the game too. However our possession stats, normally around 23% have reached almost 50%, so it's not all bad news.
Another, new, attribute straight off DM's early Xmas present "the children's book on football tactics" means the players no longer have dedicated positions to play. This is genius,,it'll baffle opposing managers clearly. The new 'thinking' is for everyone to chase the ball.. wherever it happens to be ( obviously not when it's in row Z of course..that has to be reiterated).
This is called cluster ball...no, not cluster fuck silly. Cluster ball, you will remember from the days when you were 7 years old and making your first steps as a footballer?
With everyone chasing the ball wherever it is ,like flies on a turd, I feel we've moved on a stage from Snooze ball.. This is progress albeit not quite in the right direction just yet as we slip into the drop zone. Maybe DM is hoping we'll rebound from 24th spot like kids on a trampoline, although that might be chapter 5 in his new book.
Whatever, it's churlish to criticise too soon and I'm really looking forward to cluster ball delivering us to the promised land.

I hope we get something (it won't be more than a point though), but in reality I can't see anything other than a negative defensive performance with a comfortable win for Norwich by anywhere between 2-4 goals.

First championship game ever for this referee. Probably shit himself and give Norwich everything. Thomas Kirk may be new to the Championship but he's got plenty of years (6/7) under his belt in L1 & L2, obviously hasn't got what it takes to get fast tracked to the PL.....Tell them your gay Tommy, should do the trick.

Even when we're not shit we always get bummed in the gob at Carrow Road.
No silly yellow or red cards is about the most optimistic I can be about this one.

Where's the next Championship manager sacking going to be? Two candidates meet each other at Carrow road on Saturday, both have bought some time with recent results but any sort of defeat for DW & a 2/3 goal or worse beating for DM could be the end for either......The Town bus will likely be parked up again, Saints & Tigers found it difficult to breach, so will the Canaries be singing or chirping......Possible 0-0 draw.
