None of these players are what we need, Rhodes, Ward, Hudlin. You can debate until the cows come home, it’s stale and needs refreshing with some Championship quality. If, in the January window, there was a rumour we were in for a League 1 striker who had bagged 15 goals so far this season this board would be giving it a big thumbs up.I’m not sure how we get a Championship quality striker in the January window. It is notoriously difficult to get good players this window and especially strikers. I hope we manage it but would you leave Rhodes at Blackpool on the off chance we find better? Not if that same striker had spent the last 6-7 years doing absolutely nothing in the Championship, and is now 33 years old.

I’d rather a 33 year old Rhodes (who is in cracking form) come off the bench as opposed to Hudlin or Harratt, who would benefit far more from a loan move.

I'd rather do the revolutionary thing and sign a striker. Why are we the only club that thinks they can go season after season without signing a suitable striker?

I’d much prefer that also, but trying to be realistic 😂

You don’t think we would go for an in form experienced striker when we were, I believe, after Billy Sharp? I also hope we wouldn't give signing Billy Sharp a "big thumbs up" as you said. Although comparing the two at least Sharp hit double figures at this level two seasons ago (14 league goals to be precise) which is something Rhodes hasn't done since 2015/16.

Given the game in hand, Forest closer to the relegation zone than Town... ....Looking for positives..... Could have put this on a Forest thread but TBH think this thread needs cheering up a bit. A rant from a Foest forum from a probable hypocrite (laughed along with Steve Cook) with a short memory on a thread "Standard of referees" (325 pages long). Enjoy. The injustice of today has really really wound me up. More so than any decision I can remember. It's that obscenely bad it does have the whiff of corruption. I think I'm gonna pull back a little on Forest for a while. We'll get f*** all from Newcastle and Man Utd; even if we deserve to events or officials will conspire against us. Then we barely play in January anyway. I'll keep an eye on things but I just feel like what's the point? We've been shit for most of my life, I can handle that. But it really feels like we've been cheated today by not only the officials, but the oposition and the system too. It's like we're in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, having to play along with Nurse Ratchet that we're the insane ones not the world.I really hope they go bust. The only club in the world I would say that about.

Just signing a striker won't make a jot of difference. If we had strikers who were constantly missing shots then fair enough, the problem is creating chances. We have absolutely zero attacking talent in our squad. We need a player in the mould of Izzy Brown or Kasey Palmer.

Scoring well in div 1 doesnt mean he will score well in the championship thus the reason Warnock loaned him out

Wasn’t really expecting anything else away to Norwich City to be honest....
We got really lucky with the results of the teams around us losing as well and others drawing with each other -
Grim to be looking at things like that in December and all that...
But them’s the joys of supporting HTAFC I guess !
