No Ward again fucking waste of space. soon as warnock left, we knew ward would take any oppo to not play . He was fit the year we got the play offs, yet last season until Warnock came in , was hardly ever fit. Soon as Warnock leaves , Ward goes back to his old ways . We will very rarely see him until his deal runs out now.

Very defensive line up. What the hell is up with Ward again? We are so desperate for a striker 😢 Disagree, 4/5/1, probably Headley and Thomas w/b, Rudoni and Kasumo pushing forward, Ward and Burgzorg wasn’t working, think it’s the best line up with what we’ve got.

This criticism of Ward is interesting. I know he’s nowhere close to being our long term answer, but after he scored the other week and seemed lifted, the criticism was aimed (rightly so) at Moore for sticking to what seemed to be a pre-determined substitution.
As much as he’s not going to be our long term option, the bloke can’t score and build his confidence if he gets subbed like he did on that occasion.

No mate remember Moore, who can do nothing wrong was "forced" to sub him due to the medical team recommendations. With Ward we should use him as we like or as the manager would like as he is injured msot of the time anyways , use him while you haveh im so to speak. As like Vaughan and many others, seemingly he gets injured, just thinking about playing more than 1 game in 10 , if you push him to play 2/3 games on the trot, unless we are up in the top 6 . Then he gets injured just at the thought.

Not sure why everyone’s got their knickers in a twist over Ward, he’s done fuck all this season anyway other than score what turned out to be a consolation goal against Preston.

Subbed to keep him fit for next game...so where the f*** is he ? Mind you, he's shite anyway so don't know why I'm moaning really.

I think its the fact, he comes back for 2/3 games then "injury" happens again ? its getting almost funny with Ward, he doesn't even seem to care to hide it anymore. He just seems to play a few games then take quite a few games off, then come back when it suits himself then go off injured again , when it suits. We have another season after this of that crap. But if we were up the top end of the league, he would be fit every week like he was under CC's second season and when Warnock was here, come on Ward lad you think fans are stupid.

Rudoni will need to be all energy today and get up to support Burgzorg regularly.

Would another 10 mins have done him any real harm? These lads are professional footballers, if they’re fit to start a game they really should be fit enough to do a full 90, even if the last 30 mins has to be half pace if the subs have been used. If they’re only fit to do 60 mins it feels like it would be more of a risk to start the game, better to bring them on towards the end when the frenetic pace may have died down a bit. I’m not a physio of course, but these blokes do seem to be wrapped in cotton wool a bit too often nowadays.

I find that encouraging. If we're going to play ultra defensively then we might as well have defensive players in there rather than Koroma at fullback.

So are we saying a draw or an unexpected win and we’re delighted, a narrow defeat of 1/2-0 and we will live with it because we largely expected such and another hammering and it’s very, very difficult to see how DM survives til Boxing Day? Do you honestly think Town will win at Norwich, or away at any Championship team, I always hope we will win, in the 60 years I been following Town an away win was never an expectation . No, I think we’ll lose 2/3-0 today. I always thought under Wagner we would win on our travels though. And going further back to 79/80 under Buxton. Admittedly these seasons are few and far between.

Wards no loss for me. Loses the ball a lot. Just another one of this summers cock ups signing him for another two years. But we all know that.
I have a feeling it’s going to be a long afternoon.
