Many posters hold up Brentford as the model we should follow. And in some sense we did when we closed down the younger age groups in the Academy and went with the B Team model

So I thought the following might be an interesting read.

Interesting article, not sure how you can plan the way he describes for 3 or 4 transfer windows in advance, unless he means the groundwork on young players just starts? I guess that way Brentford will have an ever-changing list of the 4 or 5 best players of interest in each of 16 positions, ready to pounce when one becomes available.
