Agree on the first four. Don't agree for different reasons on the others. Rudoni makes us tick and links play...is available...is the heartbeat. Nakayama did well apart from losing the man once. Wiles shows flashes but need more from him. Watch the match again. Rudoni either lost the ball or was easily brushed aside all night long and a lot of the time looked like he couldn’t give a toss. I was paying particular attention to him tonight as I still don’t think he’s championship standard. Tonight he was dire. Nakayama is a liability and I have yet to see him have a good game. Wiles is another let down, can’t believe Warnock had anything to do with his signing. Well, fuck my old boots 😯😯😯

Two games in a row where we showed real intent. Should have come away from these games with more than 3 points.
How bizarre that we have (presumably) grown men coming on here after a sterling effort, to argue that half the side had a shite performance. Bloody oddballs…

How shit was Boro's support tonight? 3k in there, absolute silence til they went in front. Our equaliser shut them up again until they spawned the lead again.
Not even real Yorkshire, the smoggy cards.

Watch the match again and you will see. A massive let down tonight. You seem to be just about the only one with this view.

Annoying one that tonight we played really well and didn’t deserve to lose unfortunately lack of options on the bench cost us, was crying out from some fresh legs on but obviously Moore just doesn’t trust the young lads enough to put them on in a game like that.

He’s earned a lot of respect tonight Moore, which is weird to say after a defeat. I dare say it was reminiscent of Wagner’s first few games, where you could see what we were trying to do we just didn’t have the personnel for it. Sorba though, take a bloody bow. An outrageously good performance. I’ve knocked him previously but at the moment when Hogg leaves I want him to be given the armband. He is a leading example to the rest of them. Agreed. Under DM he's turned from a petulant loose-cannon to someone who lifts the rest of the team with his positivity.

Sometimes you lose but really don’t deserve to do so. Great performance for the 2nd game running , full of energy , passion and intent. Thomas has developed into a great footballer with the attitude to match. Probably in the minority, but I enjoyed Wiles’s performance tonight. High energy ( until tiring late on ) and has very quick feet. Great to hear the crowd getting behind the team.

Just as other posters have said, we didn't deserve to lose that. After the superb penalty save we got done by a scuffer. Plus Koroma doing brilliantly to get round the keeper first half for his shot to hit the bar. Just fine margins but they just don't go our way. As someone else said their subs won that. The 6' 4" striker, Coburn, who got their first goal and gave them a long ball target plus the three others with fresh legs. I didn't think the ref was that bad. I can see why he gave the penalty but I still think we got the ball. He did seem to give them more than us but, surprisingly, he booked two of theirs and none of ours, and Kasumu was walking a thin wire. They were just better at going down than us.
Wiles picked his game up second half, I thought he was half a yard off in the first. All the others played really well. As someone said Headley, Rudoni & Nakayama down the left really seemed to click. It seemed strange playing out from the back but all their defenders were big and we have no real height up front.
We just need more quality and the confidence to continue to grow, and a bench with players who can impact the game. They got applauded off at the end, deservedly, which even when you lose lets you know you are doing the right things. Considering we had our third choice keeper, no real striker and lost our captain before half time that was a damn good performance.

High energy ( until tiring late on ) and has very quick feet. Great to hear the crowd getting behind the team. I’m still struggling to see what he adds to the team. Doesn’t make anything happen in the final third and just seems very slow to break forwards and track back. We desperately need a striker but the middle of the park is the next area we need to improve. Good committed performance by us tonight though and their fresh legs off the bench probably made the difference. The squad needs bulking out with some quality options to bring off the bench. I can’t imagine there have ever been many championship benches with so few starts in the football league between them.

With competent officials we win that. Much to be encouraged by. This will probably be more measured than I'm actually feeling. I feel robbed. Genuine fury at what went on in that game. I'm honestly so wound up I doubt I'll sleep a wink. That penalty decision is an absolute disgrace. The lad throws both of his feet out into Wiles, who has pulled out of the challenge. His feet are two feet away from where they would have been if he'd carried on his run. I could see that from the Kilner Bank. Quite how the referee, who was in a good position, could not, I do not know. Rank incompetence is being kind. I'd expect a referee in a kids' game to blow up and give 10 his second yellow for a blatant dive. In a professional game, when you're supposed to be 'elite', it's an unforgiveably bad error. This wasn't a case of being unsighted or anything like that. It's just plain bad. If he does his job, no penalty, Boro down to 10, no corner, no scabby shank in for the winner. At the other end, to not spot the handball is just as bad. The referee has got himself in a position where he can't see anything, which is utterly, laughably shit. But the assistant can quite clearly see that the ball hit an arm outstretched above the Boro player's head when it was being cleared. It's outside the silhouette of the body, making his body unnaturally larger. His hands should not be there. To it away is just plain wrong. But we never get that kind of obvious decision. That's three at home in the last 5 games or so that haven't been given, costing us half-a-dozen points. Southampton, Bristol City, and tonight. Two game-changing decisions. Wrong. And they lose us a game we should have won. We deserved to win. We were the better side, 1-11. Chapman's not had a thing to do, other than the save from Jones. We've created chances, and been mugged by two goals completely against the run of play and with distinct assistance from the officials. It's time the club got nasty with officials.

Two games, two excellent performances.
I don't think anyone doubts that we lack quality and depth for which Moore certainly isn't to blame.
I do wonder what's happened recently for us to start playing like this. Did Kevin have a word after the tweet? Either way they've got me back onboard. Passion, playing for each other and a bit of bite. We look like we did under Warnock.

The only time in my life I've nearly been involved in a fight, it was with lads from Middlesbrough who took exception to a comment from a friend (well, I lived with him at uni, despite him being a prize pillock) who called them smoggies. When it was pointed out by our mate, who was also from Middlesbrough, that they were called smoggies, they got up and squared up to us while my first mate was whisked away by a third mate (a fourth had disappeared to the loo at this point) and the rest of us formed a protective cordon. Then one of theirs came back, pointed out that people from Middlesbrough were called smoggies, and they all calmed down. Very weird. They also called a Geordie a Mackem in the same incident, which is probably the more relevant point to the above anecdote.

Harsh on Rudoni. He played well again. We're a much better side with him in it Watch the match again and tell me how many times he gives possession away or watches Boro players bypass him with absolutely no effort put in. Most overrated player by a mile. He scored a couple of goals this season but with more effort or ability he could and should have put more of the simple chances away. Watches Boro players bypass him? - interesting then that no player made more tackles or more interceptions than Rudoni. You must have been having a fit about the rest of them? 83.9% pass accuracy from 56 passes isn't bad either especially considering he's passing forward the majority of the time. Strange assessment of his game tonight, I know he's had a change of hair colour where you were watching the right player?

I’ve knocked him when we’ve been dull so only fair to say that the last two performances have been much more like it - spirited displays with decent passing patterns and actually getting people in the box.
Didn’t see it coming but hope this is the sign of things to come - with a few additions to give us a squad it will be interesting to see where we go.
One swallow and all that but DM and the team deserve a lot of credit for 2 good performances.

After some awful games, that was an effort to feel proud of despite the result Had the pleasure of box seats tonight. Different vantage points and in the main thought we played well. The pen was a pen from my viewing point.....a soft one but they get given now.....10/15 yrs+ ago - no chance. Im still not thrilled with DM but our bench tonight says a hell of a lot about why this club has struggled for 4 or 5 yrs now in the main. No depth / little experience and a lack of real quality. We simply have to strengthen to stay up - one pref two strikers, a goalscoring offensive midfielder and a right wing back absolute minimum otherwise it could get v twitchy.

Are you sure you even know who Rudoni is? He's been missing nearly 3 months with injury, when were all these simple chances he should have scored? You dont know your arse from your elbow if you think he wasn't trying.

A training ground first goal which was embarrassing. A fluked second, although we really must have players closing down in our own box. Rest was pretty good and Helik, Headley were excellent again. Unlucky to lose this one, though Sorba was onside but the lino, who was nowhere close to being up with play didnt. Diarra should have come on at 1-1 and given us new legs and pace, could have come on for wiles or koroma(who looked knackered). A better performance again, small steps but good ones. Switching off twice cost us.

I'm fucking raging at losing that, fuming. No way should we have lost, with Burgzog on the pitch we'd have probably won that. Great, enjoyable game to be fair. Sorba MOM, other notable mentions to Rudoni, Headley and Koroma but everyone get a 9 out of 10 tonight. The only criticisms that can be dished out are Nakayama has hot to be tighter to Coburn for the 1st goal and Edmknds Gredn has to do better to stop the header back across goal for the shank of a winner.
Well done Town but the lack of a squad is bloody killing us, really killing us.

Really enjoyed tonight. Very entertaining game and we played some good stuff. Some wise additions to the squad and I think we'll be alright. Lack of options off the bench was our downfall. The Zorg would have bagged at least one against their defence and with all the time and space they allowed.
Thought Wiles improved again. He's a neat and tidy footballer who's regaining his confidence (albeit a little too slowly). We look so much better playing on the front foot and looking forward.
