Feels like Lee Nichols just decided he’d like Christmas off work. Yeah, why anyone would want to look after their brain is just beyond me. It was a brain dead comment

Just thinking back. Koroma had so many chances. On another day he could have had a hat-trick. Really good to see us creating opportunities Yep, but he really should have buried that chance. No excuse for that one, not that he’ll need reminding of it. Needs a goal though, just to make him feel like his effort is paying off.

No. Its unreal. You see other teams getting them left right centre for bugger all. Brighton first against Spurs was Pedro's 8th pen of the season, the most anyone has scored in Europe. Then he got a 2nd 🙄 I know we got the one at Millwall but when was the last at home? Funny thing is I can't actually remember that many possibilities in the last couple of years. I know there's been the odd shout.

You have to wonder about someone who hasn't posted all season who then picks tonight, which has possibly been the performance of the season, to have a go at half the team. Can only conclude he/she has been banged up for 6 months and has just been released. He used to have a running spat with Ted about how great Wardy was too. Where is Ted?

How shit was Boro's support tonight? 3k in there, absolute silence til they went in front. Our equaliser shut them up again until they spawned the lead again. Not even real Yorkshire, the smoggy cards. Our away end doesn’t hold 3k . 2200 and I don’t even think they brought that. Silent until they were winning though .

We did get one at Millwall 4 games ago I was at Millwall and saw the ball hit his held up hand straight in his palm as he was trying to lean into it. The ref had a clear view. 100 percent definite penalty. Not a bit of doubt.

Really good to see us creating opportunities He should have finished the one where he went round the goalie ,being on his left foot it was a bit hit and hope and probably unlucky ,the other 2 chances were all of his making and on another day could have been cracking goals ,makes it criminal that he had been discarded previously ,looked back to the Koroma levels that NW had got him to last season ,good game overall for him .

The difference between the 2 penalties decisions last night was that theirs was 50/50 and after watching it numerous times all that is clear is that the attacker made the most of it whereas ours was a clear penalty with the Lino straight in front of me had a clear view.

Feels like Lee Nichols just decided he’d like Christmas off work. Apparently, he has double concussion what ever that is and is regularly being checked over by the club Dr. If that means he’s taken another blow in training then i apologise to him. Not that he’s aware i said it 😂

Looks like he played for it... the boy must practice those all week. A shocker yes, but you see them week in week out. VAR would have overturned that, but do we really want it in the Championship? Was convinced that it was a penalty, until I watched the the video, looked like a 'very clever dive,' don't believe that it was a penalty. Referee denied Town a penalty, he was very badly placed & couldn't have seen the offence, a pity' as we deserved a better result = UTT. Dont think either were penalties. In their box his arms are in an unnatural position but its hammered at them from really close. Not many refs would give that. For the one that was given its just a dive simple as that. Put your feet together , fake contact and fall over and the refs fallen for it. Should have been a yellow card. And of course that leads to the winner so we were desperately unlucky really.

According to the South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: "Most people make a full, quick recovery within a few days or weeks. However a proportion can experience issues for several months or longer." My daughter suffered concussion playing rugby league. She managed to finish the match but developed symptoms that lasted for weeks afterwards. She had problems with her vision for at least a week and couldn't go back to college for 3 weeks.

It looked like an end of training session goal where someone 'scoops' the ball over a defender and a bloke standing on his own near the goal just lobs it over the keeper, before running off for a shower?? Even if he is offside we should have made some sort of an effort to stop it? Slow motion goal?? Thought Sorba was level at worst for our dissallowed goal?? I might be wrong, much like the lino I wasnt right up with play but I paid for a seat and its not my f@cking job to be.😠 Sorba was well offside, real shame that Headley just delayed his pass as it was a great finish. Fine margins. Hopefully we can improve those sorts of moves. We are certainly doing more of them now. It was a cracking finish from Sorba.

The lad who won their penalty, was very, very cute, referee's should always, give themselves time to think, the referee, made his mind up too quickly. Don't believe the lino would have given a penalty, unfortunately the ref, didn't award a penalty, probably because the ball was kicked at the Boro player, from a short distance away! Just our luck - UTT.

It was right in front of me and a clear dive, just like they were doing all game and i firmly believe that some Lino's are frightened to make a decision.

Well for me that confirms his level of football knowledge - but I guess we all have different opinions and that’s allowed.

Was travelling home last night and missed this one and most updates as was driving and just catching up just now with the match thread...
Very disappointed yet not too much with the manner of the loss -
They simply had the luck that they absolutely didn’t have in their trip to South Yorkshire and Rotherham on Boxing Day...
Sometimes it happens but we need to hold these performances going forward -
Unfortunately all the results for all those around us were dire from a Town point of view...
But that’s just the way it is in The Championship -
But quietly confidently tiptoeing forwards and hopefully upwards...
The January transfer window is gonna be so so critical to our survival !

It wouldn't take a genius to answer that one. Checking to see if the fans are still voting with their feet, by staying away. They didn’t stay away last home game like everyone said they would. Theres been a couple of recent games where the crowd is low, other than that it’s like any other non promotion season. The crowd has been pretty much the same the last few years. But you crack on and make something out of nothing. The attendances have been terrible this season home and away. Less than 10k most home games whatever figure they announce. And people are interested. There's websites publishing these figures, there's Facebook pages devoted to away followings, people look back at old results and comment on the crowd figures, its part of being a fan in my opinion. It might not interest you and you may be happy standing with 20 others watching and that's fine. Some people are interested, and those saying Towns crowds haven't plummeted in recent years including Corberans play off season are totally deluded or on some campaign.

An ex of mine had concussion for 6 months, i couldn't believe it lasted that long and it was certainly debilitating. It could have been worse though she got hit by a metal pole during a storm.

I’ve read that Middlesbrough are about to sign Finn Azaz from Villa who has done well whilst on loan at Plymouth.
