They've done to us what they do and will continue to do to much better teams, tbh up to 33 minutes we did ok and i expect a lot of town fans were pleasently surprised we held out so long, second goal was dead soft and third was unfortunate to say the least. Man city just pass you to death, to be honest i just wanted to hear the final whistle when it got to four, only criticism today was we often lost possession through our own carelessness, you cant do that against average opposition never mind a team as good as them. The worst bit was when the 4th and 5th went in, the commentator seemed to take great delight in reminding us how long was left 🫣 Aye 5-0 on 74 mins i was fearing a seven or eight niller, thankfully it didnt happen. |

Who on earth are CITEH as unknown to me . This forum doesnt have a judge or jury for obvious reasons thus everybody has their right to an opinion .
I didnt expect much today but the point i was trying to make was simply that i thought we were capable of the doing the basics like being able to pass a ball
There seems to be to many easily pleased on this forum who act like schoolboy bullies and sadly that puts some off giving their true thoughts

Proud of the lads today. Put a shift in but we lacked any sort of quality and gave the ball away so easily. Matos looked a class act and Bojan showed glimpses of what he will do.

Thomas is vastly over rated lazy player and his close ball skills are none existant Is this the best we can dish up for our 6,000 travelling fans as teams seems more than a million miles apart This crap town team will be relegated mainly as to much shite in the squad to replace If you think Thomas was lazy today then you must not have eyes. Again, you spin from a point that you try to make. You say "ask those that spent good money". QED, spending money to watch Town validates opinion. You imply, and therefore it can be inferred, that your freeloading stance does the opposite to yours. I see a thread about an FA Cup match against the current European champions has bee, as usual, hijacked by petty personal squabbles.😶.
My take mirrors many on here...
Battled well but just had no way to relieve the pressure. Big part of that is the current lack of a striker to hold the ball and being others into play. Some of it though was about us needing to be more composed on the ball.
Interesting watching city from such a high vantage point. Pretty much nobody until Doku came on tried to actively beat a man. And the passes were all simple....the difference is having at least two options every Time they had the ball. We needed those options better.
Spencer looked solid and improved....interesting to see whether that's him nailing that position down or a flash in the pan. Contrary to some....frankly baffling....opinions, Sorba was immense in his chasing and willingness. We just rarely got the free kicks etc to give a chance to load the box.
Defensively I thought we did well despite the result. Three of the goals had some element of luck.
Matos looked powerful and interesting to see him against more realistic opponents....think he will do well.
And the City fans...wow. I know its a cup game against a team in a lower league but a quick cheer of each goal then back to sleep.

Its all that local cider. Its too strong for him. He used to get pissed on Websters Green Label at 3.2 per cent. That's unfair, no need for a pile-on. Surprising Kenny involved in this.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and at the end of the day we ALL want Town to be successful. If you don't like a poster here, ignore them or block them, no need to for sh!t posting about them.

We’re terrible, we all know this. 5-0 seems acceptable. Let’s crack on. Few more incomings this month and hopefully move up the table. I think it’s doubtful we’ll be comfortable mid-table though.
On Thomas, he’s putting more effort in, but he remains brainless. The offsides were ridiculous for a professional footballer, he wasn’t even close.
