Celtic and Rangers are a stain on the game. Revolting fans, both sides. They are plenty of them on both sides here around here that are decent enough and live with each other and share pubs and there are families where one brother / sister supports one and the other goes the opposite way... But that’s here in The West Island and rural mainland Highlands and certainly not in Glasgow or the surrounding towns either - They don’t even give each other away tickets any more - I think Rangers ended the 25% away fans reciprocal arrangement (predominantly because their fans got fed up with the celebration of Hoops fans at Ibrox lording it in The ‘Bears Den’ after a couple of 5-1 hammering there a few years ago... Celtic of course ‘returned the serve’ on the demands of their fans and it’s been like that ever since... Police Scotland ‘G’ Division are of course highly delighted 😊 with this current set up !

Does thst mean that Town are only 20 years old then? Rangers remained in the top division continuously until a financial crisis during the 2011–12 season saw the club enter administration and the original company liquidated with the assets moved to a new company structure. The club was accepted as an associate member of the Scottish Football League and placed in the fourth tier of the Scottish football league system in time for the start of the following season as for Town The club was put into administration, but Ken Davy bought the club in the summer of 2003 and rescued Town from liquidation. I'm no expert but that seems to suggest we're the same club, Sevco aren't. They just pretend they are. Thanks for the reply. I too am not an expert. I suspect there are two key differences from re-reading about both of the cases: First Town entered administration prior to the mandatory points deduction which was introduced from the season after (I looked that up). Second, for whatever reason, hmrc refused Rangers a CVA, possibly because of the actions of David Murray and Craig Whyte, but probably also to make an example of a sizeable club. Administration also seems to be a fairly dubious way of clubs getting out of paying their debts - it's always "football creditors" who get paid first, but pie suppliers and the local coach firm can lose a bundle. As can the fans. Probably should be in off topic and apologies to all for the side step

I have family in the North East. County Durham tends to be split between Magpie and Mackem. Most of my family are Geordie but one of my cousins has a Mackem son and a Geordie daughter who married a Mackem.

A lad I know that watches Town sums Ward up perfectly. "Danny Ward is just annoying". A lad I know that reads DATM sums htafcokay up perfectly. "htafcokay is just annoying". A forum doesn't define a person. In person, htafcokay is a very nice person. Lots of intelligent conversation. He does a lot for the club too. More than most on here. He is targeted when he posts. People post the same and nobody jumps on then.

Pukki couldn’t cut it in the mad and utterly mental world that is Scottish Football... There again neither could Shane Duffy, Joey Barton or Aaron Ramsey who all done ok in England - Football can truly be a strange game at times ! I remember the days when the Scottish leagues had players like Henrik Larsson, Rino Gatusso, Paul Gascoigne, Brian Laudrup, Paolo Di Canio, van Bronkhorst. Even the wee teams like Queens Park and St Mirren had players like Andy Robertson and Aaron Mooy! Ah, the days when Scottish football was taken seriously... I remember at school in 92, we had a new form tutor that had just arrived from Wales. He was astonished and appalled that everyone in his class was rooting for the Scottish club in the "Battle of Britain" against "the local team".

I’ve had my moments with him (and his dad) in the past, quite unpleasant (both ways) at times. We met prior to a game a couple of years or so ago and I’d say we got on famously, it was genuinely nice to meet him. We’ve been fine with each other on here ever since.

Few nice touches in the midfield to link the play and excellent composure very unlucky not to score after sitting down one of the worlds best centre backs. Excited to see him play at champ level

Looked like the player we have needed for years. Was composed with his back to goal and will provide a target for Sorba. Can’t wait to see him on Saturday. I predict a goal scoring home debut.

Thought he looked good, confident on the ball and hard working off it. Can't read too far into a game like today but might be the striker we've been crying out for.

Looked a bit ungainly at first, but some really good touches and a good attempt on goal... looks like a CF at least. Thing he is definitely a step up on what we have had.

Think we've got to be prepared for him being rusty and not match fit yet. Liked the look of him although his first touch gave him a bit of work to do.
Should have a bit more space on Saturday but he'll be in a physical battle, seem to remember their centre halves being quite niggly in the opening game.
Has to be starting and I'm looking forward to him attacking Sorba's deliveries.

Shame his debut was under this fucking idiot. Just no need is there. By all means call him out for not thinking he’s good enough etc but to say he’s a fucking idiot is just not needed, when he’s at least clearly a good bloke. Also, for an “idiot” I’d imagine he’s earning a lot more than you do/have. Not bad for an idiot.

Tactically is up for debate, but haven’t seen/heard anyone say a bad word about his character. I even remember reading a Wednesday post about him being too much of a nice guy for being a good manager 😂

I've only got manual gates that I have to open and close with my bare hands..... it's a living hell.

Why is he "clearly a good bloke" ? 🤷 Because everyone keeps saying he is. Even those those who don't know him. How about I know people in football who share this opinion, including someone at the club? But you keep doing anything to put the bloke down.
