Wouldn’t bank on it normally gives little to nothing away in the pressers on injuries. Is it definitely today the press conference? Usually Friday Depends on travel arrangements for Saturdays game - I’d imagine we’d travel Saturday morning so could be tomorrow press conference.

Usually Friday Yeh.under Carlos always used to be Thursday for away games and Friday for home. Moore seems to try do most of them Fridays unless I guess it’s a fairly long trip and has to do Thursday.

Fans are reacting the same way they were when we were interested in Tyreece Simpson. Is he actually better than what we have? His record suggests not. For 1M, I can see this being a waste. Hopefully, I am wrong. I shall also stop derailing the thread on Bojan now 😁 Who would get you excited that’s realistic? What kind of question is that?? We are rumoured to be getting a 29 year old who hasn't ever done anything at this level for a rumoured fee of now 2 million. He has also had 2 cruciate ligament injuries on the last 6 years with thigh and abductor injuries in between. Given his age, it is high risk. Danny Ward, who is deemed not good enough by many, including me, has a better goalscoring record at this level. Would you pay even half for him? 1M? I just feel it is a lot of money spent for someone who is a high risk signing. I am sure there are players out there around the same price tag with better value for money that are realistic. People thought Tyreece Simpson was going to be our hero, I feel this lad will have the same impact.

It has been like this since the start of the season. This is why we are in the shit we are in. This lad is a striker by trade. He scores goals. Its what he does. From the zero option we have now to someone who just might score 10 goals between now and the end of the season (injuries or not) and keep us up - 2m will seem like nothing. FFS give the lad a chance - he isnt even through the chuffing door yet and "fans" have written him off !

Like realistically who can we sign that’s done it at this level that’s not past it & we can afford?

I haven't written him off, I hope I am proved wrong but his career statistics t this level don't fill me with confidence. We also have Bojan and Burgzorg for that position. What makes you think he will score 10 goals when he is a 1 in 8 striker currently at championship level? Bit like those saying Jordan Rhodes will all of a sudden score 10+ if we had recalled him.

If you are going to use statistics then another statistic is that he averages a goal a game almost when you combine the total amount of minutes.

Maybe we’ll change the way we play? Moore is a 352 man. He is, so maybe he’ll rotate Burgzorg with the other strikers we’re bringing in or look to switch formation in games where his favoured set up isn’t working.

That would be a radical change for Moore He could easily switch to 3-4-3 which probably fits our 'wingers' and 'wing-backs' better, but still keeps his preferred 3 at the back. In fact 3-4-4 would probably work better, but I'm not sure we'd get away with it 🤣

I don't see "hyped up". I see fans, who for many moons have been wanting an improvement in our striking options, getting it. This is on top of a tough little bugger in midfield, another striker and, if, as seems likely, a centre back with pace. If these are the only signings we make in this window, I would call it a success. Fans are reacting the same way they were when we were interested in Tyreece Simpson. Is he actually better than what we have? His record suggests not. For 1M, I can see this being a waste. Hopefully, I am wrong. I shall also stop derailing the thread on Bojan now 😁 If he's not injured, then yes.

How good we think they'll be. I'm not convinced that Rhodes is the answer, but if we'd brought him back this window he'd be the striker I'd have the highest hopes about when compared to Radulovic and Healey.

Really like the look of him judging on his minutes so far. Great composure on the chop back each game, shame he couldn’t get to it a bit quicker today as if he’d slotted that the roof would’ve come off that stand.
