We have some massive games coming up now. I actually think when fully fit we have a decent squad now. Especially if we are adding a couple more this week. Not sure there’s anymore excuses for Darren. Big month ahead hopefully with a few wins included.
But how many will we win. Town fans were pretty much spot on in the last poll with half voting for 1-2. Fixtures are as follows.
Plymouth Home Blackburn away QPR away Wednesday home Southampton away

It's a shame there isn't an option for 2-3 haha
The next 4 are winnable, though I suspect we'll not beat Blackburn (not to say we'll lose, just don't think we'll win) Plymouth, QPR and Wednesday are all very winnable, and we certainly can't afford to lose any of those 3. I think the main 2 we need to win though are QPR and Wednesday. Southampton seem to score a hatful at home every time, so any points in that game are arguably bonus points.

Three wins in 20 for Darren Moore and time he starts picking up results. We can have no excuses now and plaudits for (apparently) playing better but losing.
We MUST get some wins under our belts in the next few otherwise DM will be under serious pressure (if he’s not already).

We've started our business early and everything points to at least another 2 coming in, and based on what we've seen of them today, they are a vast improvement on most of our existing options, let's hope that the rest of the reinforcements have a similar impact.
Time to put everything up until now to bed, it's done with. Yes it's been shit, but the powers that be are clearly intent on giving DM the tools he needs to keep us in the division.
The board have given him a free hit up until now because the absolute state of the squad would have made this a nightmarish task for any manager (yes, even Warnock would have struggled, don't kid yourselves into thinking otherwise) but now there can be no excuses, with the apparent strengthening of the squad, there absolutely has to be an improvement in performances and results, and if there isn't then I've no doubt he will be gone.
It's a big ask after the shite that Town fans have put up with lately, but it's in everyone's best interests to dig deep and support the guy, because the club clearly are continuing to do so.

I'm missing these 5 games (and only these 5) by visiting our daughter in Australia. My 6th visit. Current Town record there W3 D4 L13. We won the very first at Leeds, the only game I missed in 2013, but since then...Even when we went up in 2016-17 we drew 2 and lost 3 (5-0 at Fulham and the next four), but then went on a fantastic winning run immediately I got back. Only 7 home games and 13 away, but only one win and one draw at home. It's long past time that this changes for the better.

The next 4 should be make or break for DM, IMO.

2
If that is 2 wins and 2 draws it will be a big improvement on any 5 game streak under Moore

If he continues with his 10 man defence we should scrape a few points. Or, these new players could introduce some of that exciting attacking football he promised us when he first arrived; in which case we may be pleasantly surprised.

I’m saying 5 points from a possible 15 there, trying to be as realistic as possible. Thinking win v Plymouth, 2 draws v Blackburn and the massive and 2 defeats at QPR and Soton.

I fear the relegation form will continue, any new players will obviously provide a lift but I don't think it will be enough with DM in charge.

I think we need 9 points from these games, and just as importantly we need to see better performances. There can be little doubt this is make or break for DM. I have said before it would make life a lot easier for everyone if we had confidence in DM as a coach. Based on everything we have seen so far he has to do more to convince me. If he does I won't be unhappy as I would be pleased (for him as much as anything) if he shows himself to be a good coach/leader.
Mr Nagle and team are delivering what they promised and have stuck with DM so there are no excuses on that front (assuming we see more reinforcements too).
A crucial period not just for this season but possibly the next season to come too. Fascinating but also potentially nerve-wracking. Plymouth feels pivotal/critical, as ever hoping for the best and as it stands I am expecting better too. I hope I am right.

We need 7 points from the next 4 games, ideally beating Wednesday and QPR. I can’t see us doing anything at Southampton but if we do then it’s a bonus. Moore has to start winning games, he has been given time and we’ve started to bring some players in so that needs to be turned into results immediately. 3 wins in 19 (I’ll let him off yesterday!) is poor to say the least but the last two home games have given me some hope that he may be able to turn it around.

Almost identical period this time last season it was QPR, Blackpool, Wigan & Stoke we needed to take points off, we had loan signings Lowton, Knockaert, Waghorn & Hungbo on board so all that was required was someone to get them performing on the pitch.....We took only two points & thankfully NW responded to our mayday call, I really hope we have a plan in place for a similar outcome this year.

6 points would probably be fine provided they come against QPR and Sheff Wednesday.

I'm not sure I can speculate on how many we will win with any great confidence, but it shouldn't be inconceivable that we only loose once.

We need to improve our home form. We currently have the second worst home record in the division. Luckily our next two home games are against teams with the 2nd and 3rd worse away records.
Our next two away games are against teams with the worst and 6th worst home records.
We need to get some serious points on board in these next four otherwise Darren Moore needs to be shown the door.

For me - 10 points SHOULD be the aim. These are the results I feel we should get: Plymouth Home - W Blackburn away - D QPR away - W Wednesday home - W Southampton away - L
However, I feel we will end up with something similar to: Plymouth Home - W Blackburn away - L QPR away -D Wednesday home - D Southampton away - L
If we get under 5 points (especially in the first 4) then he needs to be gone and get someone in to keep us up asap.

Ignoring the Southampton game, should be looking at 6/7 points as a minimum from those next 4 games. Not saying it's must win, but absolutely crucial that we get 3 points against Plymouth.
Wednesday and QPR have improved since their new manager has come in and i can see one or both of them surviving - need to make sure it's not at our expense, the sooner we get amongst the group above us the better.

Difficult to say as a lot depends on who and which injured players return and who and in what positions we sign players. A lot of that could effect the formation and game plan.
7 points has to be an absolute minimum. And we must win against QPR & Wednesday as they really are huge 6 pointers.

The last two Home games he's changed the mentality and actually got us on the front foot. Prior to this, its been absolutely dreadful. No excuses. So im hopeful for at least 2 wins from this set. If he doesn't achieve this and the form returns to dreadful displays , he's got to go.

Based on the last two home games , I’d like to back us against Wednesday and Plymouth , however both seem to be scoring goals for fun .
Blackburn and QPR also very beatable . I’d love to see 10 points plus from the 15 but would be happy to take 8 as long as we don’t lose to those around us

Haven’t Plymouth lost 2 key players that they had on loan?

Haven’t Plymouth lost 2 key players that they had on loan? Yeah fin Azaz has gone to Boro and Luke Cundle to Stoke. Cundle scored one and set up another in their last game. They’ve just got Ashley Philips on loan, giant centre back from Spurs.

Should be getting nine points. We play three relegation rivals in those five games, and if we're not picking up wins against them then it's time we admitted that we made a mistake appointing Moore.

TBF, Philips can’t be much chop when they are wanting to play 4 fullback as a back 4 because all of Spurs 1st team CB’s were injured.
