I was very tempted to come up for this but in the end I decided not to. Nothing to do with Town, just me starting to feel my age a bit, perhaps. I’ll be at Sutton v Barrow but my heart and mind will be at JSS.
Amazingly, the last time I saw Town v Argyle was September 1980, just a few days after I’d returned to the UK from living in the States. It really saddens me how long I’ve not been able to watch Town all the time.
I’d love to meet KN and just have a chat about things.

This is a big game for us, we need a win (a comfortable one if we can manage it) and a good performance in front of a home crowd and KN. Anything less is almost unthinkable as I have it down as the most winnable game of the ones coming up.

Lots of emotion on here but we all want the same thing - more or less anyway. The big question is whether or not DM is capable of building a side that’s competitive? The far right have made up their mind based on results, while the far left have decided he’s a nice bloke who should be given until the end of the season. There is no right and wrong because you will never know what the alternative might have been but there will always be consequences which is what we should really be discussing. What I really disagree with is fans hoping we lose so that he gets sacked and they can say ‘told you months ago’. It’s Plymouth next and we want a good performance and a result. The sad thing is, there are one or two on here that I know for a fact would rather see us lose, so that (as you say) they can say 'I told you so'. Absolute crazy shit from some so called Town fans. Anyone who wants Town to lose so the manager can get the boot has lost their minds to insanity.

He's done a few 'afternoon teas' with supporters - appreciate you live a few hundred miles away so that might not be practical, but if you contact him/the club/ justaguy on here they might be able to arrange something.

It would be a pretty shit day if we are in the bottom 3 tomorrow teatime however unlikely it seems, does DM play safe like he did at Hillsborough on KN's last league game? I don't think he can & somehow needs his 3rd home victory......Most likely the QPR type than the Blackburn one.

I’m no fan of DM and I don’t think he’ll be our manager for very long in all honesty but we have been playing a little better recently. I really feel tomorrow is a big game for him but talk of us losing in the hope it moves the manager closer to the trapdoor is plain wrong. UTT

Really looking forward to this match, now. There are so many - to coin a phrase from DM - energizing items of information surrounding this game to get the fan interested, that this has to be one of the most intriguing games of the season so far: For us, 2 new players in Matos and Radulovic who have instilled new hope in many Town fans (me included). Bizarrely (on the back of a 5-0 defeat) it's generated new momentum for the forthcoming games. If these two stay fit, you just know we won't be hovering around the relegation zone for too long. Plymouth coming with a new manager whose achievements are certainly nowt to be sniffed at (manager of U-19 European Championship winners, England - also assistant to Steven Gerrard in Saudi Arabia, so you wonder how much he must have picked up from him, too) Read somewhere that Plymouth are the best team outside the top 4 when it comes to scoring goals; however, they are now minus two of their really good players (Azaz and Cundle) - albeit only Azaz was involved in the game at Home Park back in August, if only for a couple of minutes - and we lost that one. To counter the loss of 2 vital players, they may well have their new loan player Ashley Phillips from Spurs featuring. Then there'll be Kevin Nagle at the stadium, bravely swapping sunny California for the merciless cold of West Yorkshire in January. The stadium will be heaving, with the fans surrounding him around the beer machines, and asking him about further signings. Then there's the question of who will get the points. Both sets of fans feel they are in urgent need of them. Can't call it, but just feel it will be a cracking game. I hope he's picked up lots of managerial tips from Slippy Stevie Me

The song is a bit of an earworm, too :-) Great player though, it has to be said!

Surely we've not sold out? I didn't say we had. I'm asking if anyone has a spare I'll buy it off them for the right price. I have sold my tickets on like this many times in the past. The right price being the same price as they're sold at the ticket office? Surely there's no-one touting inflated prices for this game. Or is the 'right price' below face value for you?

It's the most must win game of the season that is still not really a must win game ..."ding-dong, ding-dong". That's the worst version of the Andy Williams classic I've seen.

Perfectly acceptable. It’s just it wasn’t clear to myself and seemingly other posters what it was you were looking for ie. a ticket on the cheap. I might have even offered you one, was it not for the snarky response. Is that OK?

I will have a go 433 Nicholls Turton Helik Pearson Headley Matos Rudoni Kasumu Burgzorg Radulovic Thomas I find it really odd that many people are not putting Hogg in there teams he is still excellent at what he does and I am sure one of the first names on the team sheet when avaialble. Our best team I think GK Nicholls RB Turton CB Helik CB Lees LB Yuta or Ruffles (cant decide, LWB then Headley) DCM Hogg CM Matos (going off only a few mins) CM Rudoni LW Burgzorg (not seen him play there) RW Sorba CF Bojan (not seen enough yet but I think he is better than next option which is Ward)

Bojan got a knock in training, you couldn't make it up with this club. When a Club / Team is winning matches it is a happy ship. And guess what?, injuries are less so. If we can manage to string a few wins together, the injuries will miraculously reduce.

Moore's probably telling them to go down at this point so he can keep wheeling out the, "Never had chance to work with a full squad". This is a tongue in cheek comment before anybody kicks off

Press conference with Radulovic and Moore:
Looking like Burgzorg and Headley are out for "a while", Hogg back in the frame for selection. Looks like we had some sort of practice game against Man City the day after the cup-tie, Hudlin slightly concussed in that game.
