What was lucky about our win today? For context, we dominated first half without threatening too much and let them back in end of first half. I think if you watch back they had a handful of chances before and after our goal which could and should have buried the game. Ultimately I couldn’t really care less but in answer to your question that’s why we rode our luck They didn’t even have a shot until minute 35 or something 😂 we’d already had very good chances with Delano and Rudoni. Their manager made two tactical subs on the 25th minute because we were all over them. They had a spell in the second half but we definitely didn’t ride our luck.

Absolutely delighted My eyes saw it The stats showed it that second half we at times rode our luck. You disagree I couldn’t give a sh1t Beer being cracked open Cheers

So it looks like you missed the bit where I said we dominated first half….. And then proceeded to tell me about how we dominated the first half😂

I was there, there was no luck about that win. Even the two Watford commentators said we were the best side and deserved our win. And they were correct. OK, Watford missed a couple of chances to put them 2 ahead but how many saves did Nicholls have to make? Can’t recall anything significant. How many fluky deflections were made? None. Where was the luck?

You disagree I couldn’t give a sh1t Beer being cracked open Cheers We definitely rode our luck at times with at least four sitters missed by Ince and Rakovic. But we deserve some luck finally, and the ref wasn’t against us, thought he was really good. Looking forward to at least a draw against Beeston .

If this thread is still about Tom Edwards, an assist today does not wipe out his horror show against leeds at er.

It doesn’t but as a loan signing to date, he’s been marginally better than Puncheon and I’m still surprised we didn’t send him back to Stoke in January as he seemed to be filling a space on the bench and nothing more. Maybe AB can get something out of him on a more consistent basis.

As long as he doesn’t play him next week. That has to be the worst performance I’ve seen from a Town player the last time he played against them scum b*stards.

Put it this way - Andre signalled for him to come on in the 50th minute. By the time he’d got to the touchline from the bench it was the 68th minute 🤣🤣🤣

New Manager & coaches every player gets a clean slate imo. Everyone seems happy & ready to give it their all. Let's get on top of our injuries & get safe ASAP & look forward to some stability & exiting times ahead UTT

Yes well done for one cross/assist but he is still an awful and overweight player for championship level.
This new appreciation of Edwards and give him a chance line will soon disappear once he starts a game.
He is rank useless and should be kept for absolute emergencies only. IMO of course.
Let's see... 🤔🤔

He created the assist for the winning goal. My mate who went says he did some ugly defending as well. Even helped to put his parent club in bottom 3. Let leave it at that shall we

Stop it. If he hadn’t played yesterday this thread would be quite. Because he came on and created the winning goal he gets criticised. I bet he wished he had never been brought on, at least he wouldn’t have been critised then!
