He has no pace so he's definitely not Vardy like How often have you seen him play? Just against QPR and he didn't look quick. Reminds me much more of a Jordan Rhodes type than Vardy Plus I've seen a few of their fans say it looks like he's running in treacle

Didn’t get to see much of him really but had scored goals before hand in France so if he can stay fit might be a good buy . Definitely scoring on Feb 24th!

I'm just correcting the comparison to Vardy which couldn't be further from reality He has been getting his fitness back at Watford after injury and he didn’t get much game time. If he plays regularly with us he may be quicker than we think.

He can clearly finish and looks razor sharp in the box, which is exactly what we've missed. Looking forward to seeing him in action.

We might know next to nothing about Healey or Radulovic but ANYTHING has to be a step up from Hudlin and Harratt up front in the Championship Funny how so many forget or ignore that Harratt has scored 2 goals for us this season, one of them was pretty spectacular. Hudlin also got one. Given the crap coaching and tactics since, not surprising they haven’t been able to score more. Don’t blame them, blame their boss.

He's still young and has very limited experience at this level. I think he's shown enough to be given more time.

I've just watched his interview on HTTV and I got quite excited, partly because it meant Daz's interview was over, but mainly because he's got Jamie Vardy's eyes....yes!.... and that same underfed-urchin, feral, nervous energy that natural-born goal-thieves have. I live in Wales, and if he survived playing in the Welsh prem as a young lad, he'd have to be tough as boots as well. I've got a feeling that he's going to do really well..... although the way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if he was injured on the way to the match by an eagle dropping a tortoise on his head or some such....

I'm no fan of Moore but you could have a hybrid of Pep,Sir Alex and Wenger in the dugout and Hudlin wouldn't be more than league 2 standard tbf

Remains to be seen if he can in the championship. The French second division isn't the same standard as the championship He did with Watford.................. His goal scoring rate at Watford in goals per games is on a par with Jordan Rhodes at Town last year isn’t it? ie, pretty shit. He’s going to have to raise his level to have any kind of impact…would be interesting to know why he wanted to leave them so quickly after signing an extended deal.

'Underfed urchin, feral...' - splendid stuff. Vardy had to wear an electronic tag at either Stocksbridge or Halifax, or both, although the story may be apochryphal. Stocksbridge took to playing him on the wing because centre-backs found it too easy to wind him up and they feared sendings-off. In January 2020 my daughter, visiting from Australia, watched with me as our son played for Hepworth at Stocksbridge, a midweek game under floodlights. Sitting in the Jamie Vardy Stand, we noticed a face we recognised, which took a while to place. Only Jon Fucking Moss, just plain Jon Moss at the time. His son was refereeing and did a good job in a 1-1 draw. He kept up with play as well. Saw Moss referee a university match at Leeds Poly's grounds about 9 years ago, so never two without three, not looking forward to seeing him again post-Wembley 2022.

The one against Southampton is a bit of a howler from their keeper though. Arguably so is the one Vs Blackburn but I'd be more inclined to give credit because he reacted quickly. (See my post on the previous page to watch the goals)

Decent signing by looks of it. Won’t take much for him to quickly eclipse any current strikers in terms of goal total and quality…… Won't be as good as Hudlin. Few could be....
