A draw away from home might not be a crap result if (big if) we can back it up with a win against Wednesday. But we can't put all our eggs in one basket and assume we'll beat the Owls at home. That is far from certain. As a result we need to be looking to win this one. We can't go gung-ho, but we do need to approach the game as a winnable one. We'll all know what Moore has set them up for after 15 minutes (or less). I hope we're taking the game to them but I think he'll be going for a trademark Moore 1-1.

Away draws would be fine in this league, but we can't win at home either therefore the draws become useless.

I don't know whether I'm nervous about the cricket or the game this afternoon, but my palms are sweating. Don't be nervous any longer 😉🤣

Correct, the website should be the first “go to” place , rather than “oh if I have to” aged data thread. I'm actually surprised that Nagle hasn't already sorted this. We're moving into the Americanisation of sport where communication with your fans is of prime importance. I used to feel it was the lady that washed the kit that updated the web site, it is slightly better now but could be improved so easily and cheaply in comparison to what we spend on other parts of the club. I've definitely noticed an increase in the number of emails they've been sending recently. I feel they post often on social media too, it's just our own website that needs a bit more thought.

DM really doesn't have a choice, it's shit or bust now for him and knows that. If he doesn't set us up to get in their faces and go all out for the win, then he really does deserve to get the boot, and I'm saying that as someone who has supported him pretty much constantly throughout.

Don't be nervous any longer 😉🤣 Test cricket like yesterday's fa cup proving yet again how good it is and actually deserves backing. But they'll stuck to the borefest premier league and 20 over shite cricket.

I stand to be proved wrong, but that looks like Spencer as the left-sided centre-back again. I hope not. Pleased to see a front two, but not the team I would pick.

If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master; If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
Ladies and gentlemen, Huddersfield Town will be playing five, three, fucking two!

Tbf Hogg has this knack of pulling out a top performance when he’s been in bad form. For years he’s had periods of being called out as past it, but can turn it on.
Hopefully that’s today. Good lineup today, no excuses for Moore, 3 points only.

Delighted to see two strikers and one on the bench, been a while since we have seen that. The bench looks a lot better as well with some experienced heads in there. My concern is big Kev will take a win as everything will work out, which given we are playing a team below us is no real benchmark of how it might go against better opposition. For me I want a draw so DM gets the boot as I don't think another one pointer will appease KN. Would love the win of course for the points but if that gives DM another stay of execution then its not good for the club. I have never understood who hires managers like DM, the guy has zero charisma, lacks personality and shows no passion for the club. I watched the interview with Michael Tonge and he comes across so well in comparison to DM, talks with knowledge, has clearly got a clue as to what he is doing. I watch DM and think how, just how did someone interview you and offer you a job. Only Mark Fotheringham comes across as more lacking in personality. I can only think the interview panel are equally lacking in any type of personality and think.....yes please he is one of our own.
