The problem is the majority of the fan base don’t want him. Don’t think for a second that the players aren’t aware of this. You don’t know “ the majority of the fan base don’t want him” , it’s factually incorrect , unless you have conducted a poll of a far more varied spread of actual attending supporters and not just relied on the small number on here. There were no “ Moore out” calls from the crowd at Blackburn. The only thing a majority want is a team that wins, and hopefully with the new players we have more of a chance. I've been firmly in support of Moore since he showed up, but if you think that the majority of fans don't want him gone, then you're even more puddled than you appear.

This popped up on youtube this morning when I was looking for 'takes that chance pre-match show'. Kevin Gallen is the co host. QPR fans also see this as a 'must win' personally I would take the point on Saturday, would suit us more than them. That said, our win to game ratio is abysmal. It’s Sunday. Early kickoff as well. Oooops! Silly me, was still half asleep.

I think it will need very 'telling' how he sets up for this fixture. Kevin made it very clear he wants to see an attacking lineup, so if he sets up defensively, maybe he's kind of asking to be sacked. A man in his predicament, maybe he's had enough of it all now, and just wants the payout. Might do him a favour, forcing him to field a more attacking line up, although like you say he might not be that bothered, I'd like to think being a top pro and a good person though, he would be. Desperate for the points now, especially these points, so very much hoping for the win, regardless of what it means for his job security.

The former, Kev is proved right, Moore eats humble pie. The latter, we don't win and Moore is 95% sure to be sacked. Rinse and repeat for next few games.

On the idea of him not being bothered if he is sacked, I find that ridiculous. I am sure he wants to succeed and it is not just his job but the coaching staff be brought with him. I do wish Nagle would stop joining in the trial by social media.

I don't think dm will get the sack even with a defeat
Why would he back him then sack him after 2 games?
This is going down like 87/88...supermac got 35 games before his sacking and only 6 wins

His instincts tell him that the best way to pick up points is with a cautious, defensive approach. I suppose the questions now are, would we rather a turgid 1-0 win or an exciting, fast flowing 4-3 defeat? I personally think we're better served by playing on the front foot so for me that's a false choice but for Darren Moore it isn't. 2nd paragraph, I agree wholeheartedly.

Time to see whether Radulovic is any good at fullback.

However, in this case I think DM has had more than enough public support from Nagle throughout his awful run of results and performances. You can only think that Nagle has had some pretty unsatisfactory answers in meetings with DM whilst he was over here. "What are you going to change to improve things Darren?" - "We're just going to keep doing the the same things, in the here and now, with the group, in terms of ..." zzzzzzzzzz. Alarm bells have clearly rung in Nagle's head and he's decided the time has come to pile some pressure on DM in a desperate last throw of the dice - almost like electric shock treatment on an unresponsive body!

I completely agree, I think we also have to factor in that Nagle is still in the honeymoon period as owner and is obviously well aware he (the club) is losing the fanbase and its enthusiasm. The atmosphere was noticeably more upbeat for the last home match and I think that was in some way down to the owners positivity. I've been reassured by his bullish talk on social media although I appreciate for the coach its not ideal. Fact of the matter is though his job is on the line regardless of what KN says on twitter, at least he's not under any illusions. Like most football coaches he has the full support of the owner until it's best he goes for the good of the club. Going forward I think it will be best if KN avoids commenting after individual games, unless he manages to find a coach who can take it on the chin and not take it personally! That was never going to be the case with NW

So its groundhog day again on Sunday, last year when we played the R's at this stage it was at at home (Matchday 28) & ended one a piece. It was also the game when the SS held the banners 'Circus in the boardroom' & 'Clowns running the club' aloft......Seven days later the manager was sacked after losing to the team directly below, Wigan leapfrogged Town leaving us 2nd bottom on 28 points from 30 played.
