POSITIVESThought Pearson and Rudoni did a fantastic job on Clarke, some superb tackles throughout. Matos and Kasumu were excellent in the middle breaking up their play Spencer and Balker very impressive, Lees doing his best to score another OG! The Zorg looked dangerous and had an impact Sorba - A leader, has class, drives forward and has end product. He's so important to us. Great win, more than deserved. NEGATIVES IF I'M BEING PICKY..Rudoni really is very poor in front of goal, the amount of big chances he has missed this season have really added up. Wiles looked knackered after 50 minutes again and struggled to have the same impact as the other midfielders.. Danny Ward; what can we even do with him next season?! I wonder what Bojan is thinking from the bench... When Jackson and Nakayama were our left side, Sunderland clearly targeted it as our weak link. Can't wait for Headley to come back into the fold. Jackson needs a season long loan next season and we need better than Nakayama. It was Rudoni’s Shot from the free kick that got us the goal. Wiles still looks off the pace, not sure why. It was a very fast game though. Ward was the right call. Their No. 5 was controlling their play from the back. Ward was there to break that up, not to score a worldie. Del was there to give them something different to think about. Yuta and Jackson were always going to be targeted. Subs take a while to settle and they were not getting much luck on their left. Nakayama looked really good with Headley and Rudoni down the left. He needs options to play a passing game.

SAFC Data Analytics does player position analysis after each of their games. No wonder we got so much joy down the wings; their average positioning is so narrowly focused toward the midfield…

There is a new season of Sunderland Till I Die on Netflix which covers the season they got promoted through the play offs. Funny how as a fan you end up with a dislike and perception of certain players and Jack Clarke was one of those for me but he comes across really well in it.
Luke O'Nien as well is horrible to play against but seems like a great player to have in your dressing room.

Wonder if they're going to go and get Jon Dahl Tomasson - feels like a very good fit when considering their preferred style of play

Anyone notice Beale blanking the player substituted as he went to shake his hand at the weekend?
