The German blame em will say the club and players were to blame to future employers, his record proves he cooked it up!!. This club needs a new start, this current contracted squad will struggle in this league, they've been around for ever, so the hunt starts for a new manager yet again, be a brave chap who takes it.

I actually think AB wanted the club to move on from him, come to some mutual agreement where he got a payout but wasn't sacked. I understand too as to why with the mess that he has highlighted. Now the club are willing to back and support him he probably feels guilty/has some self pride that he wants to bring us back up however is unsure if that's possible. His self esteem will be hurting no doubt and if he was to fail at League One level it would be a terrible knock on his managerial career so it is a massive decision for him. Either way the club needs a decision in the next few days as we can't be waiting for him as this summer is massive for the clubs reset. People have the right to question KN and how long he is willing to wait, largely because every decision made so far has pretty much been a disaster. Fingers crossed once the new manager is sorted AB or not things start to turn the other way. AB wanted the sack and a full pay off. All this delay is currently just about his pay off imo. No chance he’ll manage these players in league one. Even the ones that don’t hate him will think he’s shit. He has zero loyalty to HTAFC and has openly stated he regrets his decision to take the job. Does that sound like someone enthusiastically waiting to kick into a new season with us? Kevin rightly said no mate, you signed a 2+ years so fulfill your contract or resign and walk away with nothing. Good on him say I. Why pay him any more money. He’s been awful from start to finish. That said I don’t blame Kevin for calling his bluff and waiting for his resignation as that will be money freed up for new players. Called this 7 days ago. All very predictable and self serving fro Andre.

We know the playbook by this stage. Get someone in, he'll say there's quality in the squad, clean slate, evaluate the squad in January once he's had enough time. January comes, two new lads into the team. End of season, sacked and the cycle starts again. I fear you may be right. The new manager will need to evaluate the squad and come to the conclusion it's a bag of shite. So it's unlikely there'll be any meaningful transfer activity save for selling the only bits of quality we have. I predict a complete shit show of a season now

Not sure I get the animosity towards AB, probably just gut reactions from some?
The bloke was here for just about one quarter of a season. He owed us nothing, we owed him nothing.
I can’t imagine what KN must think of English football right now. I’m not saying he’s a quitter, but he must be surprised as to what he’s bought?
Just imagine the meltdown on here when it’s revealed that the master plan was all a bit Mr Burns. Get the club relegated, in the centenary season of when we won the first of three in a row, then sell the Phoenix from the flames story to Netflix to make a few bob… 😉
We move on to the next caretaker Mgr, Gerry Murphy anyone?
(just thought I’d best check to see if Gerry is still with us and I love his wiki page, his managerial career started at Rawthorpr, then Bradley Rangers, finishing up at Town. Great servant for the club of course, blokes like him must be shaking their heads at the state of modern football, and clubs like Town)
Anyway, onwards to the next chapter… Anyone know when we’ll see it confirmed that Burgzorg has left the building?

Disappointed he’s not staying, but we are a mess. I worry who we will bring in, I’ve zero faith in those making that decision. How Cartwright has kept his job baffles me. He’s lucky to have got this opportunity in the first place.
The chairman’s mate posting 👀 emoji to signal breaking club news, fuck me rigid. Just about sums this circus up.

A title & promotion winning manager comes in, highlights the problems throughout the squad, tells the club and fans exactly they need to hear, then leaves because (presumably) the chairman can't/won't do what he is told is necessary. And what do some Town fans do? Rejoice. Jesus fucking wept. At last, someone sensible. . AB is a football man. Who the heck are Nagle, Cartwright & Edwards? André has told us all publicly what's wrong. Sections of the playing squad are toxic. It's no surprise they all think they're above their station when we replaced Corberan, with a PE Teacher... And then Schofield. Sorba Thomas has always been a dickhead also.

He was unremarkable I'd say and whilst I'd have like to have kept him ae just have to move on and appoint someone good ASAP. I don't fully blame him for going down but he still deserves a portion of it.

Maybe I am being cynical but starting to think it was more or less agreed, in the meeting in York, that he was leaving.
Then Kevin waited until after the season cards went on sale and he was back home before confirming it.
Maynardblue said a few days ago that he was unlikely to remain at Town.

It’s our 7th manager in 2 years. Why you think to post eyes like a good news story is on the way then for it to be that is either incredibly stupid or they just see us as a social experiment. Why I have zero faith things will improve. Just feel they are so far detached from reality. Just to add this isn’t a personal dig either. I’m just genuinely baffled as to why DC thought that was a good idea.

Far too involved (I mean are we forgetting KN was trying to pretty much pick the team at one point and tell everyone). and far too much input which has been to our detriment. AB’s CV was stuff a club like ours could dream of - Swiss champs, top half Bundesliga, few promotions to Bundesliga, used to managing 40/50000 fans not 13,000 and a few when it’s sunny - he’d have been a great appointment with backing looking to push on
But he had no experience of managing a crisis bottom of championship dog & duck outfit - he clearly didn’t know how to handle the crap he inherited
There are managers for situations - some seem to think he only won 2 out of the 13 he’s a terrible manager. Nah CV says otherwise but in that situation wrong man
We got it all wrong - Warnock a great fire fighter for the last decade, not a full season. AB not suited to a relegation fight
Would you want Pep or Warnock in a relation fight v who would you want playing inverted full backs - both better than the other in each situation
AB was right to question if he was a division 3 manager - he has no experience there. He struggled in a relegation fight, he’d have no idea of Stevenege away, following by Cambridge away mid November…
If he’d stayed it’ve imo been a positive sign he’d be backed - why else would he have done
Assuming it wasn’t an outright no then that had to suggest support available for a manager
Surely we had a contingency - time to see what Cartwright & Edwards a can do. Pressure on

Someone named Sean Maloney as being on a shortlist of three at the time AB was appointed. It wasn’t long ago and he’s got L1 experience after all, so…….another easy option? I don't know if it would be a good appointment, but we don't want another easy option. oh no can’t we leave the new toilets out of it! i’m reyt looking forward to kevin cutting the ribbon on them babbies one plus I’ve taken from the Beavis and Butthead vid diary ever so sos Kevin, Dave but as one on here commented yesterday uncanny not bothered over Breightenreighter bottling out his skill set lies overseas obviously would be delighted if the next managers name isn’t a tongue twister if you can sort that i’m a happy camper don’t listen to the neredoers they all love our beautiful club 👍 we just have different ways of getting a point across not sure when this post veered into a request mind keep on keeping on ✊

Cant say Im bothered one way or the other myself. Any faith in AB is purely based on his CV, not on anything he did in his short time as our manager. But moving forward I hope at least his views on the toxicity in the squad is listened to and sorted out whoever our next manager turns out to be. We roll the dice yet again..
