I’m so glad I saw the announcement on Twitter before seeing the “👀” on here as I’d have 100% figured AB was staying and I’d have been genuinely so pleased… but nope :/ Genuinely embarrassing isn’t it, read the room this isn’t a positive. It’s our 7th manager in 2 years. Why you think to post eyes like a good news story is on the way then for it to be that is either incredibly stupid or they just see us as a social experiment. Why I have zero faith things will improve. Just feel they are so far detached from reality. Just to add this isn’t a personal dig either. I’m just genuinely baffled as to why DC thought that was a good idea. You interpreted it as good news, surely he was just alerting us of ‘news’. Don’t overthink everything.

Andre has decided League 1, the one he oversaw us descend into, is not his cup of tea. I am sure he will find some much better run European club to make the most of his managerial talents. If it all goes tits up I am sure he can find a good reason why, as long as it isn’t him not being up to the job. If he had kept us up the conversation regarding the ‘toxic’ players, I think, would have been a private one kept within the club. Regarding the eyeballs emoji I think people need to decide what they want. Do the want Dave, aka justsmithers’ to post on here and keep a relationship with DATM or do they want him to stay away. When he pops up with some good news everyone is chuffed, when he posts and the result is not the expected one, suddenly it is crass. KN is trying, in difficult times, to keep connected to the fans and keep them onside. Andre obviously didn’t give a flying **** about the club or us so KN now has to try and sort it out, again. The club management might have made mistakes, although Andre looked like a bit of a coup, whinging about it isn’t going to change it or improve it. Let’s leave this thread now that Andre has buggered off, and start looking forward. Please?

I was for Andre staying, I was in the camp of he’d inherited a shitstorm and his CV clearly shows he’s a very good manager. Didn’t mind calling out players at the end of the season, given we can clear them out.
Obviously we don’t know the nuances but now have a different opinion of him. He came in, couldn’t save us from relegation, called out reasons why and left anyway.
Poor form.

thing is the world didn’t need to know his opinion on certain players so called attitudes players like people are all unique deal with it chastise behind closed doors we all knew Sorba can be precious we’d been told by more than one manager in their own way AB threw his accusations about and that’s all they are once the game was up and his efforts to get the required results were found wanting from where i’m standing his strategy at this moment smacks of a pretty chunky ego But how long does it stay behind closed doors? Doesn't seem to work. The players he called out deserved it. If they didn't like it, fuck them. Not the attitudes we want or need. it stays behind closed doors as it always has in British football end of it’s called professionalism this bloke started a fire and jogged off before ringing the fire brigade

Last summer window: late start due to the takeover. Admitted that it hurt us. Winner window: recruited for a manager who was a dead man walking. This summer window: late start due to managerial change that should have been sorted shortly after the penultimate match.
We've seen an issue and made that issue a self imposed one in the following two windows. Maybe it'll be a future excuse the chairman can use like those he offered for MC in his season send off video (the injury excuse really riled me up. Not uncommon with the fixture congestion/happened recently to us/we have many players with extensive injury histories). Maybe he'll have to interview for his job against no one again (stiff competition). We've messed up signings/managerial appointments, AB clearly didn't believe in the footballing vision (less fussed about that since he produced nothing), and the chairman had to find out about issues on the training ground from his manager going to the press. Yet the person who oversaw all that looks to still be involved in the decision of what manager to appoint next. I like to always wait to make judgements. It's been nearly a full year and it sounds like positive steps are occuring within the org structure and academy but the only near them positive takeaway is that our budget should be near the top of the division. That falls on MC.

CHT can you confirm that we will not get promoted next season please? 😂😂😂 Whilst we don’t particularly see eye to eye on here I appreciate a bit of good quality sarcasm as much as the next man! And when it is regards to CHT even more so!! This season has been frustrating for all. New season ahead!! Let's hope less bickering!

Shame he’s gone because he actually had the balls to call out what a shitshow the club is. There’s more to this than meets the eye as he said. Will we ever hear more - I hope so because some of these players do not deserve to remain at the club nor get any form of support. It’s now down to Cartwright and whoever else handles transfers to get Headley, Sulky Sorba and the rest of the bad eggs and deadwood out. Burgzorg is probably still at the airport trying to dance round the baggage carousel. Tosser. Hopefully the new man is on his way. Relegation annoyed me, the Andre saga has irritated me. It’s time for this club to show some spine, remember its history and start acting in its own best interest. Get rid of these spineless twats who are more interested in Instagram and pissing about with dumb haircuts and £300 trackie bottoms. Get lads in who want to be at my/our club and to fight for us. We should be going into League One ready to steamroller it. Time to show the football world who Huddersfield Town are; not the stupid little underdog anymore, we are the Yorkshire Terriers ready to growl, bite and fight our way back. Just imagining you stood at the top of Castle Hill - Mel Gibson style issuing that rallying call😀 Totally agree with your points. The players in question were being paid a fortune whilst we were all sat there agonising at our demise. Absolutely no respect for the club or its fans. The Operational Directors will hopefully assist the new appointment in making sure nothing like this happens again. Class opening line

Don't think he was ever going to stay. At least he's gone early-ish. Get someone in who can give us some playing identity, get the cheque book out to hoover up some decent playing talent for them, and let's have a real tilt at getting back up first time of asking.
The cheque book will be out, I imagine. Only issue is that we're still relying on the same behind-the-scenes flops to get us a manager who can give us some identity, and get us some decent playing talent. I'd like to think this might be a turning point, but there's absolutely no guarantee of that being the case.

Always a big ? about his ability to deal with discipline and ultimately that ? Was the one that sent us down.
Poor from Andre, but the reset with a new manager is probably the right one.
Tough call now on the retained list.
Will worthy get a go? Probably a mistake, but who knows with this club at the moment.

Since when did a pair of eyeballs indicate celebration. Jesus wept Just seemed a bit of an odd thing to do. The 👀 emoji has been used in the past by our resident itk reporter Maynard Blue so i don't think it's unreasonable to assume its use here may, after KN's diary and a looming deadline, have signified positive news (I was in the AB to stay camp for the avoidance of doubt). I know I was furiously refreshing website pages thereafter. Why do it if not to invite a reaction. I know if I poke a bear I'll likely get a reaction from it albeit probably not a positive one. I'm not wetting my bed but just thought it a strange way to deliver the news, which I think the majority on here found disappointing, that's all.

At least the anger isn’t aimed at other for once 😄 Chelmsford comments are really significant. I am aware we haven't seen eye to eye, but with reflection, a difference in opinions from time to time have become a little heated. All that is due to passion. I have no doubt that Chelmsford is a passionate supporter. And through this season, my own emotions have led to arguments. Bottom line is that most on here don't even know one another. For me, I apologies to anyone I have argued with, bickered or been negative towards. It was pure frustration, anger, upset, just sad moment. No excuses. I hope that these posters can have a clean slate with me.

I liked the guy but if he hasn’t got the stomach for league 1 then moving him out of the club at an early stage is exactly what was needed. Just like a bag full of players.

[br players will play they work hard this job requires quite a high level of fitness correct ? but. for managers they respect being given the right instructions, tactics and playing in the position in which they are best suited in a properly set up team as we know they give more of themselves we’ve all seen evidence of that under more than one manager this season not saying the quality of the squad is of the highest calibre but they certainly put a shift in for Warnock/Jeppo and Worthy / Tonge some will always give their all as a matter of course true professionals unfortunately we don’t live in a perfect world others don’t the benchmark of a manager is what he can or can’t get from the others and that’s from all involved not only the players which facet of Professionalism involves telling the world that your colleagues are trouble causers ?
