In a year's time, you'll be wondering why club communication has dried up. Was that really necessary? yeah it was, that’s not communication, why would you drop this in when the fanbase is already pissed off…it’s not what he’s put it’s the clear lack of reading the room, painfully out of touch. Probably wrongfully assumed the fanbase were grown adults not easily triggered by the eye emoji |

Last summer window: late start due to the takeover. Admitted that it hurt us. Winner window: recruited for a manager who was a dead man walking. This summer window: late start due to managerial change that should have been sorted shortly after the penultimate match. We've seen an issue and made that issue a self imposed one in the following two windows. Maybe it'll be a future excuse the chairman can use like those he offered for MC in his season send off video (the injury excuse really riled me up. Not uncommon with the fixture congestion/happened recently to us/we have many players with extensive injury histories). Maybe he'll have to interview for his job against no one again (stiff competition). We've messed up signings/managerial appointments, AB clearly didn't believe in the footballing vision (less fussed about that since he produced nothing), and the chairman had to find out about issues on the training ground from his manager going to the press. Yet the person who oversaw all that looks to still be involved in the decision of what manager to appoint next. I like to always wait to make judgements. It's been nearly a full year and it sounds like positive steps are occuring within the org structure and academy but the only near them positive takeaway is that our budget should be near the top of the division. That falls on MC. Late start? The window doesnt even open for another month! Do you not think agents are trying to line up their clients with moves as we speak (especially those about to be out of contract)? They’d have no clue what to think of Town with no clear manager/tactical direction. |

Yes we need to get our next manager in place asap, but we have plenty of time to get that sorted before the window even opens, never mind really gets going in late July. |

Suggests that some of the players aren’t committed and have already left the club in there heads yet is currently umming and ahhing himself. Crikey have we no dignity. Fuck him off. He's doing it in the close season, totally different. He's a twat. |

The way he’s flounced off after whinging at the players, makes me wonder if the dressing room is quite as toxic as he made out.
Thomas and Burgzorg have all the hallmarks of difficult characters, would probably be the ring leaders of the bad clique and will certainly be gone. Others will follow, but with a good man manager and strong leader in and some good characters signed it will be easier to move on than if AB is still here. Obviously the next manager is critical, and I’ve not got great confidence that the leadership team can pick the right man, but we’re far from a lost cause yet.

Crying about delays to this that and the other…it’s not even a week since the season finished. We don’t play a game for 13 weeks.
Seemingly wanting hourly updates on exactly what is happening at the club. Most clubs don’t get the level of communication we already receive.
There’s a lot wrong at HTFC but not everything is wrong. Calm the fuck down.

Disappointing that the person who oversaw relegation to the third tier isn't up for the challenge. Can't see him having a future in this country now with such a bad win record. He now becomes yesterday's news as he effectively is for HTAFC. Moving forwards, what a huge opportunity for a manager with a great club in League One. Whoever is appointed, let's all back him with everything we have and prove that we really are a Championship team in 12 months time. On that subject, realistic targets right now could be Grant McCann or Darren Ferguson. You been on the glue ? - HTFC are an utter shitshow at the moment - badly run - badly managed and people in responsible positions that have been found out to be utterly clueless. McCann or Ferguson (maybe his dad ??) - but not for me......quite who is anoher matter..... |

You know what though, the bickering is passion and it’s great to see we ALL want Town to be successful. At least the anger isn’t aimed at other for once 😄 Chelmsford comments are really significant. I am aware we haven't seen eye to eye, but with reflection, a difference in opinions from time to time have become a little heated. All that is due to passion. I have no doubt that Chelmsford is a passionate supporter. And through this season, my own emotions have led to arguments. Bottom line is that most on here don't even know one another. For me, I apologies to anyone I have argued with, bickered or been negative towards. It was pure frustration, anger, upset, just sad moment. No excuses. I hope that these posters can have a clean slate with me. There’s worse than you rockwall. A forum is a place for debate and as it’s a football forum passions and tensions will rise naturally. We all want the same outcome, a successful Huddersfield Town. Should this be a good season, we’ll all be best mates for a few days. Maybe. |
