Good move from KN. Anyone on the fence get your ticket renewed or bought when they go on general sale. Does anyone know how many we sold last season out of curiosity?Never released by the club. First time I've ever known that to happen.

First time I've ever known that to happen. Must have been 15 or 16k given that the gates were often announced to be 17k plus when there were often far less in the ground.

So £349 just got put in the bin?
It’s all good news but what a farce.

What an absolute shambles. First of all no information about new card holders. Then £350 or £300 depending on where you sit. Now new ones at £249 for a limited period. Wonder what the price will change to next week!

Let's not knock it. If the £249 season card is the difference between 10k attendances and 14k attendances, the club are right to go for it.
The correct route would have been to say from the off '£X for renewals and £X for new tickets from this date' but they left it hanging and some of us guessing. With this two week window now available there will be more uptake and that includes my clan I'm confident of saying.
Well played KN. For me the gesture is appreciated.

Well done KN and HTFC , the pricing as been SUPERB and to offer the pricing to new ST holders for a short period is again SUPERB. Why folk complain is beyond me , I want as many STs sold as possible and this will do nothing but help. 👍

As much as I like a good atmosphere and filled out ground, I’ve never been too bothered about whether other people turn up as long as I do.

I never understood why they don’t let new buyers purchase at the same time as renewals? You have 4 weeks to buy your seat that’s reserved until then. Plenty of other seats to choose from

No not every case is black and white, but you cant expect the club to make allowances for each individual fan's circumstances as to why they didnt get a season ticket the season before. My youngest lad isnt getting one next season for the first time in many years because he'll only be able to get to the first few games. When he gets back into the country in time for 25/26 he'll no doubt buy one again and if he doesnt get the existing SC discount, then thats just how it is. New buyers are still getting a SC at a very reasonable price compared to the rest of the market. I never mentioned expecting "the club to make allowances for each individual fan's circumstances as to why they didn't get a season ticket the season before". I said that no-one was a better fan than anyone else as everyone supports the club in their way. You gave your circumstances for not getting a season ticket that time. Lots of people who dont buy a season ticket will have a reason why they dont. What Im saying is the club cant be expected to take each persons reasons into account. They obviously have to take a more black and white approach...you have a season ticket..you get a discount as a reward for that commitment....you dont have one, you dont get that reward. It isnt about 'being a better fan'..its about rewarding the commitment of buying a season ticket. And by the way, I dont get why you think one fan cant be a 'better fan' than another fan. If Fan A goes to every game and Fan B cherry picks 3 or 4 of the more attractive games a season to go to, then you think Fan A isnt the better fan? Theyre both the same because 'everyone supports the club in their own way'? Really? It's not criticising fan B to say Fan A is the better fan. He obviously is! Is it the word 'better' that you wont accept? Perhaps more 'dedicated' or 'committed' would be ok instead?

People can be fans but be unable to attend games, it doesn't mean their passion for the club is necessarily less.

I know lads who have barely been to a game in years but theyre still fans. Dont think attending games or not effects that at all.

Many thanks to KN and the team , I was going to purchase a ticket even if the price was £350 , but the £249 price amnesty for 2 weeks is very competitive , I will be getting down to the ticket office early on the 17th of June.

The price is perfectly fair, I think we are fortunate that the prices have been held (noting that many don't agree with that view) and the increase after the deadline is also consistent with past seasons. From a supporting viewpoint I think anyone who still cares enough to come to any game is a fan. There are some outstanding supporters out there, far more than I would consider myself, too. It's the ones that have lost interest and don't want to come that we probably need to be concerned about. I don't think price is the most important factor for them as much as a team they want to watch. My point is we can all get into a pi55ing competition about who is a "better fan" but anyone who cares is still of value. No-one is a better fan than anybody else. Some people go to every game, some people listen to it on the radio every single game, some people are avid followers on iFollow, some people buy every bit of merchandise available in the shop, some people are members of the Supporters Association and the Blue & White Foundation, some people pay more for hospitality boxes, some people just pay on the day when they can get there. There is one common denominator and that's a love for Huddersfield Town A.F.C. Everyone supports the club in their different ways and no-one is better than anyone else for doing that. Exactly. Is anyone gonna call westislandterrier a shit fan because he only sees 3-4 games a season? Is Convictatthemac a shit fan because he can't be arsed ( ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ) coming to matches from Australia? Was I a shit fan for most of my early life because my parents wouldn't bring me to matches from Germany? I hate all this dick-waving shit fan bollocks.

You are lucky I’m not in the UK, would have stolen your season ticket by now… “Same old Aussies… always cheating” 😉 Just finished watching the latest season of “The Test” on Prime, was getting a right laugh out of how many times that song featured.

Spoke last season to a bloke who sits a row or two behind us. His dialaysis and associated treatments mean he often misses games, I didnt advise him to get his finger out and get himself down there more often. The Swansea game clearly wasnt helping his condition, but he was there. Some folks can only make a play off final, spoke to a couple from New Zealand at the Forest play off. They organised visits 'home' to try and see some games, had been to about a dozen in the last 4 or 5 years. The bloke was annoyed because his brother got married the Summer we went into the premier league and they had to come over in the off season that year. Fans do whats possible..

In the latest video diary KN suggests they've exceeded last season.**
Which would be amazing given the apathy last season and the subsequent relegation.
** was listening while working so may have misheard or he meant exceeded expectations?

My understanding was that he meant sales have increased based on the number of days they have been on sale, versus the same number of days on sale last season (not against the full total sold last season).

To be honest I no longer take any notice of what KN says. If the club make a press release he’s on twitter within 24 hours changing things if enough people are annoyed/upset.
