Seen him in lots of matches this season and, whilst he's obviously a 17 year old with potential playing regularly at a high level, I've yet to see why people are absolutely raving about him. He looks functional and pretty plain as a footballer, in all honesty (and trying to be as unbiased as possible). He's hardly a Rooney, bursting onto the scene and wowing everyone. Agreed Like you I’ve seen him lots of times this season ( on TV ) he’s merely a functional player I’ve not seen him do anything outstanding. There's obviously a lot of development in him given his age, but I haven't seen him do anything which has made me sit up and think 'wow'. He's also got the advantage of playing in one of costliest Championship teams ever. His dad debuted at 18, was the Second Coming at the time (according to Chestwankers), and turned out to be distinctly mediocre.

Money sports said absolutely fuck all about our new managers previous record and said little in the fact it was his first home game in charge but chose to just wank over farke instead this kind of coverage is just plain embarrassing. But so predictable.

What a fucking idiot he is. Today is the first time I've ever read or listened to anything Farke has had to say and I'm really surprised at the tone of it all. He comes across as a bit delusional to say the least. Not too far removed from Nathan Jones after we'd knocked Luton out of the playoffs and I assumed he was better than that. Excuse after excuse followed by whingeing with absolutely zero credit given to the opposition who, until the sending off, had his side well in their pockets. I like it though as in the long run it should only hamper Leeds, especially if they only make the playoffs.
And we all know what happens to leeds utd in the play-offs. 😉

He was the real deal as a teenager but injuries seem to have massively hampered his career. They raved about Veira, he was shit and now plays in Serie B They raved about Phillips, he’s had about 3 good seasons in his career and was crap before Bielsa They just have to do everything in extremes. Leeds were “tired” . They were the worst top 4 team I’ve seen this season and their last resort was put all attacking players on the pitch and fuck about with one two football all second half .
André out thought them and the players put a shift in .
Best young player on the pitch was Spencer followed by Rudoni . Archie Gray was their weak link at right back

You cannot say that about a member of the Gray family! The Radio Leeds Police will be knocking on your door today.

Can anyone explain Farke's (and a load of their fans on social media) comments around the tactical fouling in the first half and the subsequent number of minutes the ball was in play when in the whole game, they committed more fouls than us🤷🏼

Regarding hogg Anyone try jumping for a ball with your arms at your side That refereeing performance was on a part with Jon moss,s 12 v 10 today He looked to see where the Chestie was then smacked him in the face, it had cock all to do with using his arms for leverage. I don’t fully disagree with the sending off, the main issue was his body positioning, but hi didn’t swing, their lad made a bloody meal of it………….but if that’s a yellow (as never a straight red that others are saying) what about Bamfords blatant elbow into the back of Rudoni’s head?

Thought the ref gave Leeds everything all game. Utter shocker
The low point booking kasumu for taking a shot!
Looked at YEP and their journo gave him a 4 out of 10
“ 16. Andrew Kitchen (referee) 4 - Took too much time to clock on to Huddersfield's physicality, could have given out two red cards. Was unduly lenient to Leeds once or twice in the second half. Six minutes of time added on wasn't enough “

This is a more nailed on yellow card than Hogg's. He's raised his hand and stopped a counter making no attempt to play the ball. It's a stonewall yellow card. That's why people get pissed off with refs and their total lack of consistency. Difference being that Rudoni didn’t go down as though he’d been taken out by a sniper… Exactly! They played the ref every chance they got, and the muppet fell for it.

I thought both the Hogg and Bamford challenges were red cards. Probably more the Bamford one as there was no real challenge, just a straight elbow

Bamford was a yellow all day long. As well as the foul if rudoni had got past him we had a break.
Headley got booked for the same thing late on to stop a Leeds break
I love Hogg but on a yellow already he had to go for that second challenge. Totally unnecessary and a yellow at a minimum

The same with Southampton Town are pioneers..we are softening these teams up and giving others tips on how to play against them...basically have a go and they are beatable

Maybe Rudoni should have played dead like the Lxxds player? Agree Hogg deserved that second yellow and should have known better, but he hardly touched him imo

Maybe in days to come, some people who work with Leeds supporters will give an objective view of the game?
I think the Ref was poor because he was really inconsistent. I can’t say I’ve heard of him before, surely the authorities knew this could have been a feisty game?
As for Leeds, they’re clearly a talented side, but they might be coming to the end of what you can’t argue, has been a fantastic run. If they drop a few points over the next half a dozen games, coupled with Soton or Ipswich coming back into form, they could be destined for the play offs again. Before the game yesterday, all the talk was about reining in Leicester.
We’re probably a bit more sensitive to it on here, but you do get the impression that the media that’s affiliated to Leeds find it difficult to be critical of the team. Better that they find a better excuse than acknowledging a side with 10 men for half the game, matched them in terms of effort and tenacity, if not technical ability.
You could also see first hand, why their winger threw his toys out of the pram earlier in the season. I always thought he looked tricky, but his attitude is shocking. Like a petulant child all the time he was on the pitch.
Here’s hoping they’re lining up at the JSS again next season, with their wings clipped and short of some of their gifted players…

I thought we showed good intensity, worked hard and deserved a point. It keeps the momentum JW started going and we need to keep at it through the last few games.
As it gets tighter at the bottom of the table it is those who cope mentally who will be successful. The entire mindset and attitude has shifted these last few weeks, that must continue.
As for the ref; no issues with the sending off but some of his other decisions were woefully inconsistent. It's gone, on to Cardiff.

Nice to see we had them riled today. Odd really, we’re a side fighting for survival and they should be so much more professional. Their lad who hit the post reacted like a child as well. So many footballers wouldn’t last 5 mins in real life… Anyway, onwards and upwards, and hopefully Leeds will start sliding down together… 🤞 Hilariously, one wanker on twitter told me they're 3rd cos they play football, we're 5th bottom cos we play rugby. Deluded twat

I’d take that article with a pinch of salt considering the source and that there is no direct quote within the article with him saying that. Regarding Farke, I was impressed that he walked around the pitch at the end of the game and made a point of shaking the hand of every Town player. It looked genuine as well.

Had to check and confirm that Bamford wasn’t booked for that challenge. Nothing from Sky about him being lucky, just about the ref needing to keep a lid on it. Not sure what they said about it at HT, in context of the Hogg dismissal.
How they managed only one booking sums up their luck really.
Hope they miss out on the autos by 2 points…

They are the non delusional types ( I know you might not believe that ). They all agreed the ref was defo in their favour and laughed that he couldn’t wait to get his red card out. They were delighted with a point.
