More and more of our friends from Yellow Skip trying to buy tickets into home sections. Let em all in and spread the love x No history , no ticket . Isn't that how it works . Mind you , I've had a knuckle dragging mate at begging me to get him a ticket for the past few weeks . Obviously I've said no , but surely it happens ?

I remember my 1st game against them at the old Town ground, they were top of the league & we were fairly safe in division one around Easter 1971, the match ended 0-0 & their lot got a bit upset smashing shop windows all the way up King St thinking the dropped point would cost them the title (Which it did). A few months later early in the relegation season we beat them 2-1 at home & guess what they missed out on the Championship by 1 point again......Two years running we did them the 2nd stopped them doing the double. UTT We had the foresight to know it would stop them overtaking our amount of first division titles Crazy thing was we beat both eventual champions Arsenal & Derby at home (both 2-1), so we almost gave them a helping hand. Lets hope they miss out on the autos from the points we take off them & then its a case of who will humiliate them in the play offs........No Donny or Derby this time, possibly DW's Norwich at Wembley?

We beat both of the F. A. Cup winners in those two seasons too. The fact that we lost to many teams far worse than those top teams maybe shows what the approach to some games by our players was in 1971/2.

I’ve still got PTSD from the away game. Two senior foreman and a fellow worker are Leeds fans and next week will be unbearable if we don’t get something from this. I do have concerns we could get barrymored but I’ll take a 95 minute winner, Del Boy to curl a 30 yarder into the top corner then diving into the south stand.
I’ve got predictions wrong all season, 0-5 beeston.

I believe this game will be much closer than many think, hopefully the leeds team will be coming here hoping for an easy ride and recieve a massive shock when we are up for it and in there faces, pressing them. We have to upset there rhythm and get stuck in early doors the crowd will be behind the team and with the new attitude anything is possible.
looking at other fixtures this weekend it could be massive either way, you would hope whatever the result we will still be 2 points above QPR following the game, 5 would be amazing. Stoke at home to boro QPR away at Leicester Millwall home to Watford Birmingham home to Southampton Swansea v blackburn Plymouth v ipswich

So much more belief in the team at the moment and a manager we can really get behind. Fully expect a Leeds win, but be good to bloody their noses and keep the GD to just one….!!

Looking for some advice please…
I live in Harrogate and it normally takes me circa 1 hr 15mins to get to Huddersfield and parked on matchdays.
With it being Leeds this Saturday and an earlier kick off…does it take significantly longer?
Reason I’m asking is my wee boy has football training on a Saturday morning so trying to work out whether we need to give it a miss or not.
Cheers.

Is it? In my experience there’s mutual respect between most championship clubs and ourselves. I’ve been watching us 40 years and I was surprised at the Forest fans attitude on the day as many others were. Even Watford were at it, check out their forum. 'Lost yo Huddersfield, again' 'Huddersfield were awful'. I'm not sure what status Watford fans think their club has in English football but it seems somewhat bigger that it actually is. One Watford fan stated on their forum that 'Watford has to be a more attractive proposition than Huddersfield' in relation to us getting Breitenreiter, although based on what, I'm not too sure. Watford have been very complimentary over the last few years about our club home and away , I went on Saturday and had a couple of really decent chats with 2 separate groups of Watford fans and both said they wanted us to stay up , although to be fair one of the lads said Watford was his 2nd team ( Arsenal 1st).

Get in their faces and smash into them early doors, see if they fancy it. If a football match breaks out then they’ll win it so we need to turn it into a fight. I actual fancy us.
Town 3-1 Leeds.

UTT Buy a trailer, get some Astro turf, then your young ‘un can practice on the trailer on the way there… Should be good for balance as well… 😉 I have no idea about the time, but I’d have thought this is no different to extra traffic from that direction if we’re playing the likes of Hull, Sunderland etc. it’s only a couple or thousand so Leeds supporters, not their 16 million season ticket holders on the M62…

As I see it we need say 4 wins and a couple of draws to stay up (potentially). I’ll take one of those draws from this game. I think we will be up for it but, and I don’t like saying it, they look awesome going forward.

How does levels below work when you're in the same league And have been for most of history. 3 titles and one FA cup , same as them too. If European competition had been around back then, we wouldn't have to pretend we won it either.

I was saying this to my mate this morning, if we are to have any chance of getting anything we need to be at them from the first minute. Unfortunately I do think we are going to get pumped, that said King Andre might pull off a masterstroke.

No idea on the travel time but even if you miss the first half an hour it would be worth it. I crashed my car on the way to Leeds away in about 2010. It was a write off, although I didn't realise at the time. I was living in leeds and didn't have a scooby where to park, ended up driving past the ground (everyone laughing at my car) and parking in the White Rose Centre. Missed the first 20 minutes, was incognito in the Leeds end and it finished 2-2. Was a fairly eventful day.

Despite their attacking flair, I can't see us sitting back and absorbing pressure for 90 minutes; as would undoubtedly have been the case under Daz Boore. From what I've read about André and how we went about things on Saturday, I don't think 'parking the bus' will be on his agenda.
