Headley is a cracking player. Needs to learn a bit defensively but not as much as people are making out. Great physically one on one, nice composure on the ball and can ghost past players fairly easily.
With him and Spencer on either side they’ll give us a good threat going forward and can give good wingers a proper battle.

Annoys me no end that every quiz show answers say William the Conquerer. He was William Duke of Normandy, and the "battle of Hastings" is also a bone of contention ,the Duke of Normandy landed at Pevennsey Bay miles from Hastings whilst Saxon King Harold was defeating the Vikings at Stamford Bridge in Yorkshire. the battle took place on a hill above the bay and should be referred to as the Battle of Senlac Hill... Lazy historical research on the part of quiz writers. In addition there is a chapel{maybe ruined} nearby called Battle Abbey. How about "William the Bastard" then? Much more appropriate (and accurate). Guillaume le Batard

Bloody hell 6 points seperate 12th to 23rd place if it carries on like this 6 teams could be involved in the last match of the season.

Huge game tomorrow - get the 3 points and we have a shot at home on Sunday to be around 12th place. Wow.
Though lose or draw and the pressure is well and truly on against West Brom.
Going to be a stressful couple of months!

Is the game tonight all sold out for Town fans? I’m in Gloucester working and might be able to get across!

Going to be a stressful couple of months! The bottom half of this division is absolutely crazy. It’s insane!6 points between 12th and 23rd I’m still saying we will be ok,and have maintained that. Blackburn and Plymouth and also stoke should be worried imo, especially with the fixtures they have(blackburns are horrific) Cardiff haven’t been the best in general at home I don’t think but they have taken 4 from the last 6 available. A decent return from our next 3 games could make such a difference.

Is the game tonight all sold out for Town fans? I’m in Gloucester working and might be able to get across! Surprisingly, there is no information on our website (has not updated since 5pm yesterday) nor has Facetripe given any tickets sold info…….but, from my experience living in the south, all the away games I’ve been to where I have passed the cut off to buy through the club, has left me contacting the club we are playing directly, stating a last minute opportunity to attend, and all have always said yes and provided a way to head to an office prior to kick off to purchase …….. done this at QPR, Southampton, Swansea and Coventry to name a few. NB ask nicely though and provide a rational reason, like change of work commitments for a mid week fixture

Worked in Cardiff all year until two weeks ago….. how annoying that I’m back in the north east.
Headley or Jackson on the left ?
What’s happening with Bojan ? Not had a sniff since worthington and Andre picked the teams ?
Hard to judge what we have seen so far.

Huge game tonight, Cardif are hit and miss and with Helik back I feel abit more confident…can’t afford to lose ground going into a difficult game on Sunday with the potential added pressure of everyone around us already playing..no pissing about please town..just get the job done! 🙄

Thought he was very solid when he came on against Leeds.

Bojan I guess some players take time to settle. Wards return is shocking, but he was involved in the goal on Saturday. As long as win I don’t care who scores. Della due for a goal though.

Not had a sniff since worthington and Andre picked the teams ? Hard to judge what we have seen so far. UTT “He’s ready (Radulovic). Last week, he trained just one time, and so he was on the bench, but it was not the right playing situation for him to come in. Today he trained really well, and he’s an option for Wednesday. “He showed us in the training that he has quality. His start as a starter was not really good, but it was not only his problem, the first half against Sheffield (Wednesday), the whole team didn’t work at this day in the first half, just in the second half it was much better, but he was out. “Then the next games he didn’t play, and for a striker such a situation is not really easy, but now he is very high motivated in the training and he wants to get the chance to play, and he works for this, and that’s why I’m happy with his performance in the training, and then we will see if it’s the right moment on Wednesday.” On fellow striker Rhys Healey, who has been sidelined for the past five matches with a groin injury, Breitenreiter added: “He trained on the pitch with the athletic coach, and today I spoke to him a little on the pitch."

Yup, hopefully Bojan just needs time, it was a big jump in class for him and obviously totally different to what he's used to based on how he has handled the physical side, hopefully he'll come good. Re Danny Ward we cant really complain about his input in the last two games eh!? Two superb finishes on as sub and a brilliant header to setup Helik for the goal v L**ds. About as good as it gets really! Had a lot of success at Cardiff so hopefully we'll see a muted celebration as he scores again tonight!

Tbh I think people have been overly harsh on Radulovic.
From what I’ve seen is a player that has real quality but may take a little time to adapt to English football. He looks decent on the ball in tight situations around the 6 yard box and has a decent strike on him. England is notoriously more physical than most other leagues and players from abroad always struggle at first. We see that with top players that come the premier league and have a dodgy first season.
For me the best thing we can do is keep him motivated and build his strength and his confidence and then going in to next season we could have a real gem on our hands. The other option of course is to jump on his back and shatter his confidence bemoan every missed chance and opportunity, label him as not good enough before he has a decent run in the side and send him on his way for a fraction of what we paid for him only to see come to life after a move away.

All we need to do is keep playing with the same intensity, structure and belief and we will be ok. NB: we may not win tonight but it is how we approach games that is important now. I expect a tough game but I also expect 100% effort to get the most out of it. If we face these last 12 games like we have the last 6 we should be ok.
Looking forward to watching it tonight - I wasn't saying that under DM, in fact I mostly didn't bother.

I think calling him soft and lightweight based on a few minutes is the best way to support him and the team.

Think hopefully in time Radulovic does come good.Although I think If we’re going to be more of a pressing side you do have to tailor the way you play very much to basically carry him from a defensive side. With a summer and different players you can probably do that but with the situation as it is there maybe isn’t the time to do that so that’s why he’s not getting the minutes. It’s good that we have players back and aren’t forced into having to do that. I don’t see him as your traditional type target striker as he called himself.I’d see him as more someone to hit on the deck not in the air, certainly with back to goal anyway,he may have to develop the other side because you can’t always do that, but André has said in time he wants to work towards been better in possession and building out from the back a bit more.Again that may have to wait. On ward he’s struggled on and off with injuries but he certainly seems to be a striker who likes playing for certain managers, under Carlos he was good and under Warnock he came good again. So far under André he’s looked sharp.Whether that’s a mentality thing or just he’s more suited to how some want to play/how they manage who knows.

I got the feeling from AB's presser that Bojan might have some involvement tonight. I tend to agree with Steve Chicken's predicted line-up. Looks solid enough with decent options on the bench.

AB up against another fellow country man (German/Turk) tonight in Bulut born near Frankfurt who has similar age & playing period to Andre. Cardiff are no mugs & tore us apart at JSS under DM basically declaring at 4-0, the Bluebirds did keep Town out the bottom 3 over Xmas beating SW & QPR away but recent home results losing to Brum & draws with Plymouth/Blackburn give Town hope of at least a point.......Another draw against a team trying reach 50 point mark will be a good point. UTT.
