It’s great that they do indeed listen as Enter the Sandman has played for a few weeks now when the teams are coming out. The problem though…it plays for 30 seconds, then goes quiet for 20 seconds, then plays again for 30 seconds, then goes quiet for 20 seconds. So they may as well play Enya A lot is being put into this behind the scenes. Will be ready to go start of next season. I’m very excited. It'll be best atmosphere in League One 😂

Put the prices up in League One and we’ll have between 8k-10k home fans next season + a couple of hundred away.
In a 24k stadium. Good luck with the match day atmosphere👌

Seen walkout music been discussed on this thread a little bit to help boost atmosphere. Is it just me who thinks this years different walkout tunes (think we’ve had 3) have all been really poor? I know it’s a different vibe, but last season under Warnock the Great Escape was actually decent. Personally don’t think the heavy metal music we’ve had this year works for us as a team, considering we don’t play heavy metal football on the pitch.

I've heard ABBA's "Gimme Gimme Gimme" at almost every game this season. We really don't help ourselves do we 😂 😂 😂

The Metallica one is crap imo, not good as walk out music.

Bring back Americanos by Holly Johnson, Something’s Gotten Hold of my Heart by Gene Pitney & Marc Almond or You Got It by Roy Orbison.
Make WHSmith supply it.
Sorted.

Hows about the team performs and the fans will join em?! It was rocking in the last few minutes..... all the music in the world wont inspire the crowd week in week out. Goals, excitement and wins will!!!! Some of the stuff on the pitch today needed benny hill theme tune alongside it but the fans were united in relief at the end. Lets win another now on tues and we might get the atmosphere cranking a fortnight today.

I thought that the CSL were immense today given there was so little to raise the spirits before we scored

I think we need a 'song' for a win at full time. Leeds have started playing I predict a riot, Arsenal play rocking all over the world (I think)

Mr Brightside should be played and it should also be the National Anthem. LOL.

You've forgotten Mike and the Mechanics 'Living Years'. And "Going Loco Down in Acapulco". And ‘You Win Again’ by the Bee Gees. All ably supplied by WH Smith at The Shambles in Huddersfield. How apt 😄

But yeah they had 5 records on heavy rotation. Worse than that. I once was part of a sponsored walk, 50 laps of the Leeds Road pitch and the only record they had was the, then, newly released I Want To Break Free by Queen. 4 hours non stop. I've hated that song for 40 years.

I said get Andy Booth on the mic before the game. He’s hardly Mr Charisma is he? 😂 All the same good the club are trying everything.
Think Boothy is actually making an appearance at the local cricket club next week, probably more his thing than rallying calls.

I could see Hoggy geeing a crowd up when he’s retired. Speaks well, passionate, a battler.

Worked on the Canker Lane Fair, Easter 1974 (the ironically named House of Fun and a rigged darts stall) and Terry Jacks’ Seasons in the Sun played in the Fun House all day, every day. It’s a shit song to begin with and infinitely worse on constant repeat.

I actually love the Led Zep track ('Kashmir') that they came out to on Saturday, but there will be many more who don't. I also think that Thin Lizzy's 'The Boys are Back in Town' was great when they used it too, but lots didn't. You are never, ever going to get consensus so it's a pointless discussion. And, in truth, it hardly matters anyway, does it? Really?
