A lot of reasons have lead to this starting from wasting the prem money. All of which we all are aware of. Moving on to the conversation of almost certainly next season in league 1 . It was discussed on another thread how we will get on and some on here seem to think we will make top 6 if not better. Absolutely no chance with this squad, we aren’t just crap for the championship. The only way I see this squad doing anything would be by bringing Warnock back which we won’t and to be honest is just a sticking plaster as he was last season. I don't think we will finish in the top half of league one.

Looking forward to summer, where disappointment comes on a National scale rather than all this local stuff. Need a break

Little to do with the centre backs......the midfield is the issue + no fit natural full backs of any quality. You cant make a decent champ midfielder out of all the players in there combined - passing directions of a wonky firework! But but Rudoni is destined for the Premier League don't you know Aye.....national premier! Hugely overrated imho - but when the other options are kasumu, matos, high, austerfield and a past it hogg then its perhaps not surprising! Has some talent but decision making woeful

Is there any chance of protest next week? Could this be the worst post of all time. I understand the reaction but we are arguably in a better position now than at 3pm. Before the backlash, I am meaning that a defeat for us and Birmingham winning was worse than a draw and them winning. Obviously it’s hard to have any confidence that we can win next week, but we obviously can! I think what you mean is "it could have gone worse". But saying that we are in a better position now than at 3pm is complete nonsense. We are 1 more point behind Birmingham, 3 more behind Stoke, potentially 3 more behind QPR, and with Sheff Weds to play tomorrow.

Conceded 4 goals or more 9 times in 44 league games. We ‘only’ managed that feat 6 times in 38 when managing to get relegated from the prem with 2 months to spare. This is the worst town side since probably 2008. We look like we’re playing with a rugby ball whilst everyone else has a football. We can’t pass a ball 5 yards and our first touch is a fucking disgrace. Yet our decision making is even worse. Wow 4 goals or more 9 times? Knew it had happened on numerous occasions but wouldn’t have thought 9 times. Absolutely shocking statistic.

Jamal Lowe came over to warm up And I shouted to him if he fancied a gig with us next season He smiled and put his thumb up But I fucking meant it They bring him on and he has more touches in 20 mins than any of our players in 90

That team won't be here in League 1. The whole lot will be gone hopefully Off the glue pal ! - and give your head a shake - they are going down no two ways about that. Brum will come for a point - we will fail to score and either they will score on the break or we will get hammered by Ipswich - to be honest nothing more than all these players deserve.....spineless bottlers. Somebody hasn’t read the post they have replied to properly have they.

I've just about calmed down after a, quite frankly, another fucking collapse. We've gone from being reasonable defensively solid under Moore but dill as hell to this shambles, we've got worse under Breitenreiter. I can't say the players weren't or aren't trying but the basics are missing from our game, we can't pass, our 2nd touch is invariably a tackle, our possession football is mainly ineffective and our decision making is gash and our finishing is downright awful see Burgzorg and Koroma today. Its all but over now even if we beat Birmingham we won't win at Ipswich.

Really don't know what to say about that, we don't deserve any team to do us a favour if we can't complete our end of the bargain.
Not one effort on goal in a game of such importance, against an opponent who had nothing to play for, is criminal.
We deserve all we get & that looks very much like relegation.

Its all but over now even if we beat Birmingham we won't win at Ipswich. That’s because DM realised that without having a midfield defensive shield , Pearson , Helic and Lees are painfully slow, Spencer is having to play any position other than his own, we are wide open to teams who have any pace, posses midfield players who can pass and have attacking players who anticipate, move , can shoot and unbelievablely have forwards with brain cells, something Burgzorg appears to lack. Don’t forget at one stage our attacking threat was Hudlin. And while I’m having a moan , where the fu*k is Balker, why can Healy only play 30 mins. As Chicken says this situation has been two years in the making.

Anyone else notice the keeper "save" the ball thirty yards out when Burgzorg went around him. Should have been a free kick and a red card

Let’s be honest this bunch of gutless fuckers are not fit to wear the shirt. To get dicked 0-4 against a mid table team with nothing to play for says it all.

A game we had to win to keep our destiny in our own hands.
A game where the prep should have been about channeling energy into righting a wrong decision at the death the previous week.
We failed on both counts from what we saw on the pitch.
Whatever division we find ourselves in next season, we need someone to get the psychological side of things sorted. We’ve had this problem for yrs, with a couple of seasons that have been outliers.
The galling thing about that decision last week, again acknowledging it won’t be the root cause of our destiny, is that we go into 3PM today ahead of Brum. Even if it had played out the same we end up in the bottom 3 on GD, but still with the chance to beat Brum and give them the headache of needing 3 pts on the last day to have any chance. As it now stands those roles will probably be reversed for the last game of the season.
It’s the points lost from winning positions that have shaped our destiny though.
Just to make myself feel that little bit worse, I think I’ll just check which those games were, and how late we let things slip.
A mentally fragile side isn’t how we want to be going into next season wherever we are.
