now that is a strange one, he won the league 1 title in his last season in the division. I would have thought he would be the ideal guy to bring them back. Not this time... In their entire 99 year history, they've only got promoted to this level ONCE without Ben Wiles in their squad. Some people just fit at certain clubs! I'd be happy to help them with their promotion bid next season by sending him back there.

Injury prone winger iirc, I liked him but I don't think he got many starts. 50 appearances, 9 goals, in two seasons is not a bad record. My memory of him was that he was a hot-head, easily booked and thereby a bit of a disciplinary liability.

Just two draws could keep us up, mathematically. Incredibly unlikely that 2 draws keeps us up due to the fact we play Birmingham. Would require us drawing with Birmingham and a huge GD swing. Maybe if Brum lose 10-0 to Rotherham we could stay up with 2 draws Qpr and Stoke are who I eye up to catch, but for that we need 1 win and luck. Slim odds on every scenario going our way regardless of which team and how. I hope this change gets Rotherham the win but I expect Birmingham to win still due to better quality.

More of a no. 8 than a winger. I’ve probably seen him more times on the touchline since, alongside Evans. He sometimes came across as a nasty piece of work but he speaks very well. Very much like a Warnock/Jepson relationship with Evans.

Evans turned it down earlier this season as well. Unfashionable manager but he does get results. Hopefully he has them fired up and does us a massive favour. Unless we beat Swansea(which no chance in hell by the way) It wont matter

He’s saying all the right things is the big man. I’ve certainly got more hope of Birmingham dropping points than i did at the start of the week.
Steve Evans might just be that bit of luck we need.

QPR could very easily lose all 3, given their last few results. Today is their easiest so if they come away with nothing and we win, we should be catching them. It'll also depend on whether Coventry progress to the FA Cup final or not because their chances of getting in the playoffs are slim.

Evans has form for many outs on his arrival. Not sure many Rotherham players have played well enough for a move to stay in the championship etc, so the majority are playing to be in Evans starting line up next season under contracts they already have or new ones? Who knows??

And a deeply, deeply unpleasant man. How so - evidence ? - (and looking like Shrek doesnt count) Convicted fraudster who sent Boston to the wall. Indecent exposure to a steward at Bradford. After Boston he should have received a life ban.
