The National league seem to agree with the decision to dump replays . Turkeys and Christmas springs to mind. Surely they (and their member clubs) would be the biggest beneficiaries of replays? |

To be fair to FIFA they have always been against it and have previously stopped any attempts to do this. Their hand has been forced by this US promoter who has won a legal battle that basically prevents FIFA from stopping clubs playing competitive games abroad. So they now have to look into it...and so long as Infantino gets his share I doubt they'll put up much of a fight. It will be another nail in the coffin of footballs competitive integrity and of course another blow to any semblance of the idea the game is about anything other than money. Officially the PL is against doing it even though they were the ones who came up with the 39th game idea many years ago. With so many owners of top clubs from the US , I bet if they were to vote on it now it would go through and there'd be Liverpool v Man Utd in Doha or Los Angeles before you can say 'Show me the money!!" Like the ESL, the only thing that could stop it is the fans of those clubs. |

Football is utter shit nowadays. It's not a sport anymore and hasn't been for a long time.
Greedy pricks getting paid more per week than their level of intelligence would net them in decades in nearly any other line of work.
Powers that be picking and choosing who gets reprimanded.
Referees being trusted to make decisions when I wouldn't trust them to decide whether they need the toilet or not.
Billionaires are just allowed to spend and spend while 'competing' against teams with a fraction of the budget.
Sky Sports dictating schedules.
The media lap up all of it and ram it down your throat.

I’m not even sure if the fans could stop it Slapps.
I think the clubs would offer a sweetener that would be peanuts compared to what they’d earn from carting their entourage a few thousand miles.
