we might as well lose and get it over and done with Its the hope that kills you If we go down on Saturday I'd love it to be a draw and send them down with us if Wednesday win. Can't happen, Wednesday would be on 50 and Birmingham 47, and Birmingham have a much better GD than Wednesday.

after the dissapointment of the weekend we move on to Birmingham at home, I think we might see a bit more fight in the game and hopefully come away with 3 points giving us somehting to play for on the final day. Got to hope Leeds and Leicester win up and Ipswich mess up so they have nothing to play for on the final day.
I still dont see us staying up but it would certainyl be nice to give us somehting to play for at Ipswich, on the last day anything can happen I am now hwoever 95% sure we are in L1 next season.
For the team I would make changes, as it can not be worse than what we witnessed last week.
Nicholls
Turton Helik Lees Spencer Matos Wiles Rudoni Sorba Headley Healey
Tell Headley to go back to being more direct and running down the line, Play Turton even if its for 45mins just to have RB playing, give Wiles a go to try and create that pass if he only plays until half time its better to have someone there that can pass, give Healey a start and let him play 45 - 60mins and replace for Ward or Bojan. Do not let Del near the team he should not play for us again now, it killed the crowd, and his teamates not making that simple pass.
lets go out with a positive attitude and get the 3 points and then see where it leaves us.

As if by magic…
Although, on reflection, can we have one thread for winning the game and one for losing it? 😂

As we get the shite from Saturday out of our system and work ourselves up to another edition of the twilight zone this Saturday, I can’t help but think that we might be thankful that this fixture has landed as it has.
To be playing a direct rival at home, as part of our last roll of the dice, is so much better than worrying about what Brum will be doing at another ground.
It may all count for nothing, but I’d rather we have them in our sights for what you can certainly categorise as a six pointer…

Think Birmingham will want it more on the day imo. Not just the players. The fans will turn up, ours won’t. It’ll be like a home game for them.

There isn't an option in the poll.....but I'd go for game abandoned at half-time when fans riot, with Town 0-3 down, and reduced to ten 'men'.

Absolutely anything could happen next Saturday. I’m going for us to implode yet again; a red card, refereeing controversy, leaking goals left right and centre, fans going from anger to apathy and back again. Another long afternoon.

What's Iorpenda like? Surely he's got to be a better option than Matos and Kasumu? You could put a wheelie bin on the field with more footballing ability than Kasumu. Absolutely shocking player, sad thing is the club will think we can build a side round the likes of him, Jackson, Headley and Jones.

I've got the "joy" of watching this from the hospitality areas so I've given my match ticket to my son's mate who's coming up from Cambridge for the match. She's only been to two previous football matches in her life - Town's away games at Sunderland last season and Plymouth this season. I'm not sure it's the best game for her to come to with the possible toxic atmosphere (particularly as the original plan was for her to go to the Ipswich game with my lad, thus relieving me of the duty of going to Portman Road with him, which means I've now got to go there) but never mind. They'll have to go up in to town to get some lunch and I've warned my son to be very careful because there's the potential for trouble up there.

Anyone got any info on injuries?
Lees must be doubtful after Saturday.
What a difference Hoggy would make - some leadership, fight and positional savvy in midfield.
Balker - any chance!?
Clutching at straws I know

Not had a season ticket for a few years (since living in Scotland for the last decade), but live much closer to Huddersfield now so managed to make it along to more games. A family member of mine can’t make it next week so gave me his season ticket but I’m feeling quite doubtful. Not sure I want to spend my Saturday watching town get beat again and then being surrounded by crying kids and furious blokes. Or even if we win get my hopes up for them to be smashed by other results again anyway.
Anyway I’ll probably go, and I’ll be there next season too. Had a season ticket when we were in league one and loved it.

How do we pick ourselves up for this game? Fans more than players.
Birmingham look to be well up for the fight as a club, i’m moping round checking away days in Division 3.
It might be 10/1 or thereabouts but stranger things could happen. Imagine if it did. Where would a last day survival win rank in greatest ever games? On a par with Chelsea away?

The good news is the cards of Pritchard and Jutkiewicz seem to be injured (no surprise RE Pritchard)
The bad news is Bacuna will undoubtedly bang one in from 30 yards out

So with this being all-but-mathematically a "must win" game, will we start with a striker on the pitch?
