On the new of Tom Lees I would change the team selection now ( Maynard is not normally wrong so I taking this as Lees is out) Possible team make some changes. Nicholls Pearson Helik Spencer Sorba Headley Matos Rudoni Wiles Ward Bojan I would have Healey in but I understand he is still better to come on. Del will probably play but I wouldnt play him, tell Sorba and Headley to bomb forward others can cover them. Wiles is a better footballer than Kasumu so lest play him and bring him off when done, need to make changes even if just to get a reaction. I'm sure you posted something saying pretty much the opposite of that not so long ago?

Play a 4-4-2. Sorba on the wing, Big Striker. Little Striker. Must, must win next two matches or relegated.

I wonder if the twist is Town beat Ipswich to survive and help Leeds get promoted?

For the 7th Town match this season Matt Donohue takes the whistle, although only once at JSS against Wendies.....Ms Welch still in the naughty corner & on light duties, 4th official at Hull on Sat evening. That is an unusually high number of games for 1 ref to take charge of I am not sure the EFL have a clue who last refereed any team. Like we had lovely Rebecca twice in 3 games and only once had our darling Jeremy, not at all old Stroud.

I wonder if the twist is Town beat Ipswich to survive and help Leeds get promoted? Stranger things have happened on final days, I'd happily them off to the PL if that happened but it won't. We'll be two divisions apart next season.

I’m thinking of swerving the match on Saturday. It’s the (very thin) hope that kills you I suppose and I’m sure that will drag a lot of folk down to the JSS. But, we are pretty much doomed and the last performance v Swansea was atrocious, quite infuriating tbh.
I’m still carrying scar tissue from 2001. I just cannot bear another scenario where those thick Blues twats are giving it large at our expense. I think I’m going to go off and do something nice with the family; I need some respite from Town after this season.

Birmingham need to worry much about some of those permutations on Saturday.

After that second half 'performance' on Saturday, I'll watch this game from home. We're off to a concert that starts at 7:30pm and have to be on the M621 around Beaston in time to 'Boo' on the way passed Bellend Rd around 7pm 🤣.
At least my Saturday evening should be OK, not sure about the afternoon though 😏

There does seem to be a an acceptance from us fans and the club that we are down, but it’s not a complete forgone conclusion that we are down (I accept we are extremely poor) but a win on Saturday and we could find ourselves out of the bottom 3 with 1 match to go, and to be honest I’d have taken that a few weeks ago! Yes it’s a stinker of final game but there’s been a few freak results towards the end of this season maybe it might be our turn! Club need to come out of this coma they appear to be in since the weekend! We’re not quite done yet! UTT

Ridiculous really based on who we're playing and what's riding on it. Beat Sheffield United this time last season who finished second. Even if we took it to the last game would the coach have the game plan to stop the opposition and nick one? Seems highly unlikely based on his performance so far.

IF Birmingham and Wednesday lose Saturday (i like saying Birmingham lose rather than us win, seems more likely) They will both go into the last game fearing the worst.
Ipswich might have blown it and be stuck in 3rd (i think that’s our best case) resting players for the play offs.
I found some new straws in the draw this afternoon, Come on Town!!!!!!!

Dear Andre..
Birmingham are crap. We have to win..
Is it too much to ask that our team puts in a shift and runs their bollox off for 100 minutes 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Rules for satdy..
Burgzorg is not allowed to play..
We must play a striker in the centre forward position..
All our front 5 must press the opposition..
Use your subs to refresh tired forwards..
If we lose go straight to the airport and never darken our door again..
🍻

There is potential for it all turning nasty after the game, i am glad i don't have to go through the coach park anymore after the game lets face it we all know that Town have more than their fair share of idiots and Birmingham have their fair share.

He’ll start the same line-up as Saturday (or as close as he can get).
………………..Nicholls Spencer Pearson Helik Headley(maybe Jackson) …………..Matos Kasumu ……Thomas Rudoni Koroma ……………….Burgzorg
I’d bet my house on it.

I think that’s an absolute given if there is a winner, you would hope the police think the same.

For the love of God, no. Not that dumbass DelBoy up front. Let’s n it make it easy for Birmingham eh? They’re going to be nervous too, as I’ve said before, they aren’t bloody Barcelona. We could not ask for a better game to get a win and get ourselves into a place where we *could* stay up. Burgzorg starts, it’ll be Town 0 guaranteed.

Feeling weirdly more confident as the week is progressing that we’re gonna miraculously stay up!! I think I’m losing it!! Gonna be a slow week… I think many will be losing it. No time for faint hearts this Sat, another Swansea performance and we’ll be at New York next season. Hoping the players are knuckling down in training, staying off SM and generally waking up to the fact that this will be one of the most pivotal games in some of their careers…

I think we'll lose on Saturday and be relegated.
Then pull a stupidly good performance out of our sphincter to win at Ipswich, to allow Leeds to go up automatically.
The perfect ending to a shit sandwich of a season 👍🏻

Feeling weirdly more confident as the week is progressing that we’re gonna miraculously stay up!! I think I’m losing it!! I’m with you brother But to do that, AB needs to get in the players heads as they looked properly defeated and dejected last Saturday at the final whistle. They need to be far more mentally tougher and AB needs to play a striker, not be playing players out of position and make the right substitutions at the right time. I just don’t believe he will do any of these things going on past evidence.

As i’ve said before. We don’t have to be good for this game, just less shit than the opposition.
