Just a collective failure on everyone’s part.
Every decision we have made has failed from keeping warnock on, replacing him with Moore, replacing him with breitenreiter … ALL the signings have failed even though we spent quite a lot with four around the million mark and a loan that will have cost similar.


The only excuse we have was the injuries which have been ridiculous at times.

We need to refresh and reboot. Learn how to win games again in L1 and come back stronger.

This season- Nagle I’m afraid for the Ego clash with Warnock. Replacing him after the disagreement should have been delayed until we were mathematically safe. Don’t think he realised what an absolute miracle Warnock performed the season before, and maybe thought managers like that are all over the place. They. Are. Not. So, You either get a Great manager, Or , Spend. We didn’t do either very well from that point on…

We have under invested in the playing side for years. We don't have championship standard players. It's as simple as that from what I can see. A domino effect of owners selling talent and replacing with potential. Potential that has more often than not ended up been of a lower league standard.

One thing hasn’t caused our demise, this is the culmination of many, many poor decisions including, but not limited to:
1. Darren Moore, his negative tactics and pointless management style
2. The players - they played for Worthington and Warnock but no one else
3. The board failing to recruit in the summer, failing to keep Warnock, failing in recruiting Darren Moore, failing to sack Darren Moore, failing to keep Worthington, failing in recruiting Breitenreiter
4. The dismantling of the team that got us to the playoffs - immediating selling Toffolo and O’Brien was an absolute joke.

Let’s face it, we scrape by every year apart from the occasional random charge we have that no one can explain. We don’t retain decent managers and re recruit poorly.
We deserve this, and have done for a long time.

Well put. It's been coming and bad decisions on top of bad decisions across multiple decisions have led to this.
Hope this can be the start of a new era. As it's been pretty grim barring one season since 2018

4. What wouldn’t have been a joke? Keeping 2 very unhappy players, not having that income on top of the end of parachute payments and going in administration because we had no money to run the club?

Every permanent manager has failed miserably this season. That includes warnock who also didn’t get a tune out of this group and had us with one striker of any note until January and that one beinga constant injury case.

It’s just been a steady procession of wrong decisions from beginning to end. No one is without blame from Nagle to the board to managers to players.
