Not at all sure Duff is right guy. Issues at Swansea were similar to here, and he responded in the same way as AB. There was no clear direction. He did not relate to the fans. Hope he doesn't come our way. More than happy for him to respond the same way as AB to the issues here. If anything that would be a plus point. Flush out the problems early. |

Good appointment for me, learnt a lot of his skillset from Sean Dyche and sounds a lot like him when he speaks. If you look at how he turned Barnsley around in a short space of time they were in a very similar position to us needing a complete reset. He hasn't always been an instant success, didn't win in his first 10 games at Cheltenham and had a rough period at Barnsley at one point but give him time and lets see what he can do. Sounds like Dyche when he speaks , as like Phyllis Pearce off Corrie ? Ha more his mannerisms, uncanny resemblance. |

MC really liked Duff last time, it was the unexpected CV of AB that stopped it and the fact he was not willing to move to Yorkshire. Why is this clown still being allowed to post? Well, if being clownish in posting were sole cause for being banned it may result in a rather threadbare boardšš. But that said your thought in this case is understandable. |

Different things annoy different people and I'm sure if THAT was a banning criteria I'd have been gone ages ago  |

You can criticise Cartwright for picking somebody in his agency but Duff is an excellent appointment considering we've had 7 managers in 2 years and have a squad full of toxicity. |

sometimes the underweling appointments, can be the most sucessful ones. If nothing is expected, it will allow Duff, if its him to get his head down and work without pressure of " you have to do this and that" .

Think this is a good appointment personally. Done well with Barnsley at this level. Think people are judging his Swansea stint too much

I'd be happy with Duff, to be honest. He's proven at League 1 level, which is what we need right now.
Could we do better, probably but I guess it's the safe option.

Well I appreciate this to be the wrong thread but Iād deffo expect one of our first signings to be Herbie Kane. Genuine 8. Out of contract at Barnsley and was first choice under Duff.

Michael Beale on your list!? Please please god no! Awful manager, and very unlikeable person I dont want Beale but he is a far better option than some other stated, like Heff for example. (I love Heff by the way!) I'd rather have Ian Beale than Michael Beale. At least when he embarrasses himself it's because the script demands it. |
