The best managers in the world right now are Spanish (well two are in guardiola and Arteta I also think iraola at Bournemouth is superb), one of the two best managers we’ve had in the last 20 years was Spanish.
I have no names, but yeah I’d go Spanish 😂, not sure on selles for what it’s worth.

If AB does go....
Pearson - I get the thinking here given the state of the squad but hopefully the idea is to totally reset the squad over the summer. Plus he didn't do a lot with Bristol City with a lot of financial backing
Duff - read more about him when AB was appointed and actually changed my views on him. Could actually be a longer term appointment given he would want success in the Championship too...if we ever get back there. Think his reputation has been tarnished with the wrong move to Swansea
Young project coach - I have no names but read SC piece earlier today where he talked about Town being bold now and ignoring any outside noise. This would be this type of appointment...not the next McKenna because that's impossible but something along those lines

Which is all well and good if you’re working a machine that makes widgets and there’s a defined process for that. But when did football get so far up its own arse they decided they had to introduce min standards for Managers? Cloughie and others would be shaking their heads at the modern game if they were still here. My point being is that being bold, is being bold within a set framework. |
