Buzz has been out of football for a while now and we can't risk losing his comedy. If not maybe we could go for the real Martin Warhurst “Listen, guys….”

You'd think Duff would be a good option if AB goes. Swansea is the only blemish on a very decent record thus far, and his nightmare there was only because they somehow failed to realise he didn't play 'the Swansea way' when they set him on.

Darren Ferguson's the man for us. Attacking football guaranteed. What could possibly go wrong? 😉

People calling for Michael Duff now. Two months ago there was a threat of mutiny at the mere suggestion of his name!
Yes, I know a lot has happened in that time but fuck me, if he was THAT bad an idea then, then he ain't a great appointment now either!

Just goes to show how much the fanbase swing from one extreme to the other depending on which way the wind is blowing, or which narrative is popular that week..... Look at the latest one. A few weeks ago, Warnock was a legend here yet now it's all his fault why we've gone down because he took the team to Cornwall for pre-season.

Or it could be that the people who were happy with Duff back then are the same ones suggesting him now? Just a thought….

We should appoint Warnock’s son. We’d end up with the same players we would have got keeping Neil.

He’s going places mark my words. All this track record stuff is overated and as we see so often - managers are not able to replicate their successes in different circumstances - eg. In a foreign country. Personally, I’d shed as many of the lesser talented players - as many as possible. I’d bring in a new dof- maybe see if we can get Lincoln’s too- he’s an American so it might appeal to Nagel. Refresh with an exciting young coach who’s in form.

Grant Mccan has a better record
He took donny to the league one playoffs in 2018/19 and lost to Charlton on penalties
Won the league one title with Hull city in 20/21
And now on the verge of a league 2 playoff final with donny again...winning 11 out of the last 12 games
Very much a man on the upwards scale..and would be my choice for the position we are in

We need somebody capable of taking us forward after promotion too. McCann has been exposed multiple times at Championship level.

Derby County wouldn't normally hire a paul Warne character...Good at getting Rotherham multiple promotions from league one yet they couldn't compete in the championship You need to hire a bloke who is good at getting teams promotion from league 1 We are not a championship club anymore and should only be thinking about that league if and when we get back there

The bookies have Town & Brum top two for promotion yet neither have a confirmed/committed manager.....I wonder how many names match if each club have a shortlist to tempt to league one.

I think the appeal with Duff now is that he knows League One and can hit the ground running in terms of transfer targets - he did well with Barnsley
AB and MC will be a case of the blind leading the blind in League One level. So while I am critical of AB if he stays I naturally would want him to succeed. I just think we need someone who knows this league in the club and this is a further question mark over AB in my view
Whoever we appoint we need to get back to something Wagner insisted on. If you sign you have to agree to live within 30 mins (or similar) of the club. That's players and manager
This is a longer project now so if you're not committed to move here then it's likely you're looking for a 1 year gig and we want people who want to stay the course for the rebuild
If you can't live here - then your not fully in IMO. That should filter some of the "too big to play for Huddersfield" characters

Would be the same now if someone new came in I think if Hogg wasn't so committed to living in Middlesbrough he may have gone on the numerous opportunities he had when he was at the height of playing days
