That seems harsh, missed out on the play offs by 3 points having finished 15th the season before, for me he's done a decent job. |

Wouldn't object to Rosenior here if AB walks.
Looks to have done a good job at Hull, but isn't a "big name" so it's flown under the radar. Could he a shrewd appointment.
Looks like we've missed the boat on Richie Wellens After he signed a new contract at LO a few days ago. Otherwise he was near the top of my list.
Ruben Selles ay Reading seems worth a look as well.

The way Town seem to be sleepwalking over the future all the 'in-demand' type managers will have been snapped up. How long does AB intend to take, how long will KN give him ..I know it's only 4 days since the end of the season but there's an absolute mountain of work to do at HTAFC. Next up everyone will be away sunning themselves and 'unavailable until they return'..
I sincerely hope we're not going for the same mold as in the past either, both DM and AB are 50+ and not exactly 'up and at them' type managers..both a bit dour... is this KN's image of what we need, rather than a more dynamic younger coach ?
I also hear AB has removed all mention of Town from his Instagram account.....

I'd have a look at Mike Williamson. Living up in Gateshead, been to a few Heed matches over the last couple of years and he did a great job on probably the smallest budget in the league. Had them playing attractive possession based football and scoring lots of goals. Done well at franchise to get them in the playoffs this season as well.

Looking at the list of potential new managers on sky bet for Hull, how many on it would drop down to league one if/when AB sends his text message decision to KN deciding not to continue......With more sacking's expected in the coming weeks, some out of work managers could possibly wait for a championship job offer? |

I don't have an Instagram account so was unable to check...and shock horror I don't always double check what I post from other sources..

Quite an exciting prospect all of a sudden for a new Manager.
In recent years it’s known we are likely to struggle and does this put a few off? A few might not want the risk of a relegation on their CV.
Now, we are a big fish in a smaller pond. We have a bigger scope for FFP (or whatever it’s called in League 1) than all but the other two teams relegated and will be expected to mount a promotion push.
A good opportunity for a promotion on a CV is a good incentive and will appeal to the ego of a fair few I reckon.

The lad at lincoln is decent, if Maloney at wigan was interviewed previously then thats great and possibly Duff and whoever loses out of bolton and oxford ? Dave Challionr would be good aswell i think, could Liam Rosenior be tempted?

Chairman willing to back you, supporters desperate for something to cheer. Probably able to swap out up to 10 of the existing squad, with no player being that much of a 'crowd favourite' that they can't be sold. |
