Whoever it is, you’d think they fail and Cartwright’s neck is on the line. Alex Neil Rosenior Pearson All names I’d be okay with. Selles? What has he done to merit being mentioned? Clough? If he wasn’t Brian’s lad he wouldn’t be near this conversation. Not up to it for us imo Wouldn't want Neil. He's an ego and very unlikeable when things aren't going well sure chadders will tell us what he's like

Reckon this’ll be slim pickings for Town now. 7 managers in 2 seasons, who in their right mind would want this job? Any ambitious manager would want it. Chairman willing to back you, supporters desperate for something to cheer. Probably able to swap out up to 10 of the existing squad, with no player being that much of a 'crowd favourite' that they can't be sold. I hope you’re right. I just think they’ll look at it and think it’s a poisonous dressing room (most of which are under contract), there’s loads to sort out in the summer for us to be competitive next year, the majority of fans will expect us to be challenging, and if they don’t hit the ground running next season they’ll be given the boot. Given what’s gone on in the last 2 years I can see a lot of managers giving it a wide berth.

Anyone with a proven record in league 1 will do.. I get you but anyone with a lengthy record in Division 3 is clearly shit or they wouldn’t be in Division 3 I’d rather have Frank Lampard with no experience than Steve Evans with loads.

I’d have Rosenior. Don’t want Pearson anywhere near the club. Outdated dinosaur. Still think there’s a chance of someone from Europe. I think this needs to be someone in the Clark mould when DH started. Nagle needs a bit of enthusiasm injected into the fan base again. Not necessarily young and inexperienced but someone that shows potential for longevity rather than just getting us out of this be division.

Hope we go in for a young inspiring manager wanting to bring his own style of play, different to some of our most recent appointments. Possession based football would be a change but not sure of current squad has correct attributes to play that style of play. This is an important appointment and one the board must stick with now. Hopefully it will be announced quickly so pre season can be done properly and transfer window is planned for the manager we bring in.

Not Pearson Jesus.
I’d love Rosenior but won’t happen. Same with Heckingbottom.
Right need to change my username

Ideally we should be looking for the next Kieran McKenna rather than some old timer who has been in L1 for years. Maybe someone who has worked at a top club like Brian Barry-Murphy

Wagner will likely be available if Norwich don’t go up through playoffs. Not for me as think we need a new start and stop relying on the past, but an interesting one nonetheless

I'm with the 'bright young coach who has won promotion/s' brigade. maybe someone who could bring 4 or 5 players from his old (successful) club with him. ?
I hope we don't again go for a 50 yo plodder.. but we'll know straight away when they name the new coach...but i'm still pessimistic that Cartwright can tell the difference. basically, appointing AB and DM has got us relegated..how bad is that ?

Can’t believe nobody has mentioned Joey Barton. Football might not be any better but the press conferences definitely would be.

If not AB, then Grant McCann. He knows the division. Definitely reviving this. No doubt lives locally, too. So no pissing about having to commute from Cornwall

Why not? Because he's an unlikeable knobhead? Well so was Ferguson and Klopp and Guardiola. But see what their teams think of them. Do we think we could get someone 'better'? That's a risk. It needs a manager who knows the league and isn't afraid to put a rocket up some of the prima donnas we have. So who is better qualified?

Craig Bellamy is a decent shout. Would certainly make sure they took training seriously. Worried he’s a bit of a c**t though.
Currently Kompany assistant?
