I would imagine any sponsorship deal would not allow for this. And I don't remember ever being able to have the option of a shirt without a sponsor when one was originally on it. When we’ve had sponsors connected with gambling or alcohol there were a limited number of shirts available without sponsorship logos. I don’t see any reason why we can’t have any shirt available without sponsorship logos. I’m not being paid to be a walking advertising board, especially for gambling companies or ones like Utilita with questionable business practices. I'm not sure why a few people reacted surprised to this. I remember seeing Everton a few years ago selling an "under 18 adult shirt" with no gambling sponsors on. Anyone with alcohol/gambling sponsors could do the same - they just don't for commercial reasons. It stands to reason that a lot of 16 and 17 year olds are going to be in adult shirts and for that reason shouldn't be required to have alcohol or gambling companiessplashed across their chests. Look at Luke Littler for example - 17 years old. He's got to be an XL at very least!

Q - the official website is boring and not a ‘go to’ site for many town fans. Can you rebuild / redesign it and make it more interactive and interesting? That’s a very good point. The only time I ever go onto the website is to either buy tickets or access the club shop. It’s certainly not somewhere I look to for any other Town information.

We're one of the lazy 7 in the Championship (but we will be in a majority in L1). Pretty shit, really. efl.com/efl-digital-clubs-company-details

There was significant investment in January which unfortunately failed to prevent relegation. It’s clear to many fans that we need a change of attitude and a major refresh of the squad.
Will there be additional investment in the playing squad to enable a promotion charge in league one? Or are we hamstrung by FFP and will need to sell players before we can re-invest in the squad?

Does the fact that Town are now in League One mean that the 'deal' with DH whereby he would receive £x millions if Town went back to the PL is now permanently defunct ? is the deal for a fixed period..like 5 years...?

Does Kevin want Town to win at Ipswich if it meant L@@ds were to be promoted?

Why such little communication from Cartwright and Edwards since joining the club. Should they not be communicating with fans every so often across the season? Communication doesn't have to be directly related to team performances. It might help them to build realtuonshios and inspire confidence with the fans. It feels like all we have had is the initial press conferences to introduce our new managers. They are the two people running the club, it feels like they are hiding away, which is probably not the case. Excellent question……. We want KN to have meaningful and purposeful questions & communicating to the fan base is paramount for me. Not only due to the ease and platforms available BUT we appear to be told less than ever before, which is saying something! To create interest, fervour and simply to feed demand, build up to match days like: away games and tickets sold updates (simple!) to maybe help people want to attend (or not) Ipswich posting through their socials is like a daily “hey, did you know…..” where we are a “now where will I find out if……” and across our platforms nothing seems of the moment, all seems secretive and reactive NOT proactive. Personally, I just don’t get it. More than ever we are going to need to be marketed , informed , sold to , kept in the loop, enticed , seduced, et Al…. In the scheme of things I appreciate this may be lower down the priority list BUT it is a pivotal part of any business with a product. Thank you Yup, even Bradford City have comments like... " To secure your season ticket now, and join over 13,000 supporters who have already done so..." - www.bradfordcityafc.com/SeasonTickets/information/Which contributes to building sales momentum and interest...a slightly easier task of course when you finish the season with 5 straight wins and unbeaten in 7...although I think they actually lost 4 on the trot when they launched their season tickets!! Back in the day we DID use to get this kind of update info and it spurred discussion...I don't know if the club is embarrassed/disappointed with sales recently so we see nothing, not sure what there is to be disappointed about, the attendances have held up remarkably since relegation from the PL...if you go back and look at '15/16 (average home attendance less than 12,000), or even 16/17 where we had the big Wagner effect and promotion.

Tbh I don’t have the time (or wanted to find the time) to watch a YouTube video of the press conferences. Having summaries can keep more engaged and updated before match days. IMO the income through funnelling people to watch a YouTube would be minimal. Can’t think of too much else to add to socials. Most questions have been covered on this page. I’d just add - do we bother to look at injury records for our signings? We seem to bank on a lot of players that have had poor injury records in the past and then we wonder why the squad is depleted every week. That would be aimed at the recruitment team. - do we have a style of play that we want to use in league one which would follow through to the championship? If attacking football, then can the recruitment please target those who are technically sound. If we want to go 442 old school launch it up the field, then again, we should look to buy players to fit that style. Then continue that style (with manager aligned) for future seasons. Continuity.

What more would you like to see that would make it a “go to” website for you!? Would like to see some community / chat room there for the many fans who are not on here for example. Maybe some online ‘membership’ tiers so could interact. Surely fan data also useful for the club? Essentially mailing it more of a fan hub - maybe small subscription for more ‘access’. More incentives to visit - maybe some ‘giveaways’ Make it local! Have it designed and managed locally

In addition to speaking to a few outlets this summer, I will be conducting his end of season Diary this weekend. You may have seen his recent tweet quoting some questions already submitted, those will be asked. If you can, please refer to that tweet and if there are any glaring omissions, I will try to get those in as well in the spirit as always of open access and transparency. Leave them here and I’ll mark them. Also it goes without saying, but “why are you a Knucklehead” probably won’t make the cut, so let’s please be constructive. Tough questions welcome. FanZone, Do the club have any plans to improve this? As it stands it seems to have several things that go against it. For starters it’s outdoors and given that for the majority of the season our weather is fair to say cold, wet and windy. It also at the wrong side of the stadium, most footfall comes from the Town centre. Could we relocate it to the now redundant driving range and possibly look to build an indoor arena similar to something like box park at Wembley. Big screens, bars and street food all under one roof. Appreciate that this would cost a good sum of money but it could be worth looking into as would also be available for Rugby League when the Giants are at home and for major sporting events such as the Euro’s and the World Cup to name but two.

Bullet points appreciated. Thank you Of course: - the club is not just a match day business, both team and facility, the “behind the scenes” are retrospective but the business is an almost everyday entity - the club could look at a season (and seasonalities) and keep us up to date on maintenance, management, admin departments, the coaching staff, rehabilitating methods and players care in between games, dietary advice and focus, what’s coming, what’s just happened etc.. - feedback from fans, more fans forums, fan interviews …. - Next Match Focus: NMF could be ground info, history of games, blast from the past etc.. there is an email normally day before but build up is just that, build upto - Where In The World: focus on terriers all over the world - The club shop is full of merch, hard to get around on match days, do a focus on products Seriously if we cannot fill a year then something is very very wrong. Platforms incl X are so beneficial , as someone else pointed out the website is normally the last “go to” as static, never up to date, never really of the moment and like so many clubs devoid of any club personality Sorry, but you asked Thanks

I guess my main questions are 1) What are you going to do to prevent a season like the last? 2) Given we have dropped a division, is your target for the club still to get back in the Premier League? If so, when is your realistic timeline goal for that? 3) Given we have been in relegation battles every season since reaching the Premier League, baring an overachieving year under Carlos Coberan - What are the main factors that contribute to the consistently poor league standings, and how can you rectify it? 4) How global is your scouting network? For example, do you have contacts who are scouting the A-league, and I guess by extension, are we likely to see more transfer dealings between Huddersfield Town and Sacremento? Lastly, AB has been very outspoken about the culture around the club, ie players leaving early etc, how can you change the culture? - and how much of that falls on the manager to control the dressing room, if so, what are your thoughts on him publicly criticizing the players? I apologize if these have already been asked, I gave up on this thread fairly quickly as I seemed to only be reading about Danny Ward of all people. downatthemac.proboards.com/post/3190481

Questions for Kevin. (sorry if some are repeated i have not read the full thread) - Do we have any news on the stadium purchase ? - Do we have any news on a supporters bar like the Rope walk ? - Do you still have the same commitment to HTAFC now we are in L1 as before ? - Whats the biggest lesson learnt in your first season ? - do you listen to the constantly negative fans and does it make you regret what you have taken on ? - Netflix / TV show do we still have an option to create one ? - Huddersfield Town needs leaders and people who knwo the club do you plan to increase these type of people around the club ? - Connected to the last question, is there a contract on offer for Jonny Hogg to keep involved here ? Well, well... and here's me thinking that you'd be able to provide us with the answers. All he has ever said that was correct, was that we would keep hold of DM far too long.

Q - the official website is boring and not a ‘go to’ site for many town fans. Can you rebuild / redesign it and make it more interactive and interesting? Expand on this please. What more would you like to see that would make it a “go to” website for you!? This has piqued my interest because, let’s be honest, our website and the App are atrocious. If I wasn’t utterly addicted to this football club and they were an app and website for a product, I’d never bother with that product again. In terms of the website I’d like to see: - Clear delineation of information: 5 of the most common headers, Match Reports| Interview Hub| Fixtures & Results| Stats Centre| Upcoming Events. Currently if I log on the website to find out what the manager thinks about a game, I have to sift through B Team news, charity event news, ticket information etc. Break it up and break it up concisely. - Ticketing: I don’t even have to explain this one Dave, just log on yourself and try and buy tickets/navigate around the UI, it’s diabolically bad. - Shop: Likewise, the UI is clunky and unresponsive and everything is cluttered. - Engaging Content: How many people really care about the B Team results? Or about the 50th anniversary of a win over Stockport? Crunch the numbers and relegate the boring stuff from the homepage and replace it with things that actually engage fans. Have an embedded player so we everyone who goes on the site can watch the Access All Areas stuff etc. Socials: As mentioned before, manager comments and player comments on Twitter please. Also, get someone to edit the interview graphics you put up or add a degree of professionalism to them. A stock waiting screen that you’d get on Twitch doesn’t cut the mustard for a professional football club aspiring to grow its fan base.

Not a question but a suggestion Justasmithers in relation to the topic of our website and how fans consume content. Has the club considered a WhatsApp channel? Seems a simple way for Town to keep fans updated (particularly to those who don't use social media), promote shop offers, show behind the scenes etc. A number of other clubs have them... Premier League teams, the scum, even the likes of Shrewsbury.

Just realised with the talk of the website.....can you ask him why we've stopped actually writing articles with the pre/post match comments etc on the website? Why is everything in video form only? I may not be deaf, but apart from the fact that videos aren't much good for those that are deaf, I haven't got the time or interest to watch a 15/30/45/60 or however many minute long video to find out what the manager had to say after the latest game, I want a quick summary I can read through in a few minutes

"3. Stadium Connectivity
A panel member enquired about the potential for the installation of wi-fi at the stadium.
Mr. Threlfall-Sykes said the club was examining the possibility of doing so. He also confirmed that the club was in the process of developing a new website and app."
As per ATT in March.
