The parachute money was coming our way because it had become clear by that time that the idea it would go to repay Hoyle was fanciful. The club was losing millions WITH the parachute money! Who was responsible for the club being in the hands of someone who could not look after it?...the main guilty party would be whichever Chinese scientist let a vaccine escape from his lab...because if he hadnt done that, the owner would have been able to afford it. But we were where we were...and Hoyle didnt have a magic money tree and didnt own the club, so where was this extra umpteen millions to try and persuade Carlos to stay coming from? The fans? They cough up blood at the mere suggestion they might have to pay a bit more than half the going rate to watch their team! It's been pointed out many times that COVID wasn't the reason that Potless's businesses went tits up. No, but its the reason he didnt sell them before they went tits up. |

The one good season and Dean pissed off the person who got us to third place, and see how we dropped afterwards. Which lower league punts have been anywhere near as good as the players we sold. Most on here are wanting the better ones gone. It could be that we were good at these signings but not anymore. I have decided to stop going until the club shows us that they are making efforts to turn the club around. Yeah like you said..you'll stop going until they start winning again. Why dont you just say what you mean ? Because that is what you mean...when they make the 'efforts to turn the club around'....ie make some good decisions so we start winning football games regularly. I have watched Dean change from an owner who had the best intentions towards the club change to rip the guts out of it and drive it to the gates of League one, sell it to a new owner who just sat behind the wheel and continued in the same direction. You do what you want, I will do what I want. And by the way even if we start winning again I won't go back in the ground if Cartwright is still involved in the club. |

What if Cartwright starts making some good decisions and we start winning loads of games? Get promoted back to the Championship.
What if we win so many games we end up back in the PL again?
You going to sit at home with a sulk on saying " Ah well , that Cartwright made some bad decisions back in 2023 so Im not going again!" ?

What if Cartwright starts making some good decisions and we start winning loads of games? Get promoted back to the Championship. What if we win so many games we end up back in the PL again? You going to sit at home with a sulk on saying " Ah well , that Cartwright made some bad decisions back in 2023 so Im not going again!" ? I am sick and tired of supporting a club that only wants to rip itself to pieces. If the club decides to start making good decisions it won't be down to down to Cartwright. I will not be stuck at home sulking. |
