Not really, the ref for the Ipswitch match is a Leeds fan.Could be, he's from Wiltshire, Simon Hooper was the ref when we beat L33ds 2-1 at JSS in the promotion season.......aka Wagner v Monk game & of course the late Hef winner. |

Off down for the weekend and hoping for no less than an Ipswich victory . After all we've had to endure , watching Leeds on SKY getting knocked out in the playoff semi finals would make a happy end to a shit season..

I live 10mins away from Portman Road, getting into Ipswich for 8am to join in with mates and their celebration beers. Then I'll leave them and fuck off home. I cannot tell you how depressing it is being in the office hearing their supporters, seeing it on social media absolutely riding their  of a  and loving football remembering that was me under Wagner, and now look at us. A complete shitshow. Hopefully, hopefully I will be back feeling how they are again one day, we really have to follow their model. Get a good young, upcoming manager in, have a philosophy that works and throw some money at it. We just need to get used to winning games again, which we should do in League 1. |

Why are Town fans wanting us to lose? Too many people obsessed with Leeds. I’d just prefer Ipswich to go up than Leeds. A draw will do, town don’t lose but my preferred choice of promotion candidate goes up. Plus they don’t deserve to go there after the shite they’ve churned out all season and beat Ipswich to put themselves in the shop window on the final day. |

Why are Town fans wanting us to lose? Too many people obsessed with Leeds. For me there's a couple of things. Lose or draw and Leeds have to suffer the play offs. If we win I'll be fuming that they've finally put in a performance to get a result, when it's way too late. |

For me, I live in Leeds, most of my friends are shite in white fans, everyone I work with is and I can tell you first hand, most of them are the most fickle horrible fans you could imagine! They pretend their rivals are still Man Utd, won't wear anything red, all whilst playing down the rivalry with Town. Bullshit, they hate us just as much and it runs deep. One claimed Hogg should be "banned from football" when we roughed them up recently, couldn't even concede that we matched them, bullied them even. By 6pm on Saturday I'd had 3 messages from lads I've not spoken to in over 2yrs.. you could say obsessed. Results wise, I'm numb.. what's one more bad result? |

Regarding the coaches, does anyone check you have a match ticket when you book on?
Otherwise is there not a possibility fans booked the coaches before they decided if to actually attend? Could 10 coaches arrive and pick up 90 strange people who for some reason want to watch Ipswich get promoted?

Weirdly and for the first time in 45 years, my sense of pride in HTFC will best be served by seeing this set of players humiliated at Ipswich. Then they can (almost) all leave the club in their personalised Range Rovers and take their chances elsewhere. I've never felt like this before. They're so bad, they've taken me into a world where even disappointment no longer exists.
Helping to ruin Leeds fans' weekend is just a delicious bonus.

I was out with a few last Friday night "watching" their QPR game and one mate had socks on the played MOT. He didn't end the evening happy and slaughtered the players all night long. I look at it like this, I don't want TOWN to lose, but I do want Ipswich to win. If someone can't understand that, I'm not going to explain it cos you know what, I don't need to. UTT |

Horrible set of ‘fans’ - I was bombarded with messages after that 1-1 by lads I’ve not spoken to in years saying we were a disgrace and ‘scared of them’. Same fans messaged me after we lost 6-1 to city in the PL saying we were an embarrassment to the prem … forgetting they’d not been in it in nearly twenty years . Imagine the hilarity when city bummed them 7-0 a couple years later |
