This bemuses me. Some people genuinely wishing to pay someone a few hundred pounds to watch a football match. Yeah it’s a big game, but it’s not as though they haven’t been here before. You’ll see it on the telly, you can join in the celebrations outside the ground after. Save your money and buy a bottle of champagne in the pub… We do live in the ‘I was there age’ which is great & I get that feeling. But to pay ten, twenty times the face value of the ticket is insanity… You say that - but I probably paid a grand for my girlfriend and I to go the the play-off final a couple of years ago once flights and accommodation were counted in.

It cost me about £400 for me and two of my kids to fly back/stay over/get tickets etc for the Coventry game the other week.
And we know how that panned out 🥺

Action? I sat at Wembley in our end surrounded by Forest nut jobs. The club did f all action. Actions, sell our best two players and let our manager walk because we would not bring in the players he wanted. For a price that had our pants pulled down and looking at it, they are still round our ankles.

Football is probably the only thing i don’t begrudge paying for. It costs what it costs.
If England won the World Cup or Town the FA Cup and i wasnt in the ground i wouldn’t be celebrating just sat round sulking i missed it.
