100% bring back the black socks. Especially as we’re supposed to be celebrating 100 years since our league titles….when we wore black socks. It makes us different from all the other blue and white striped teams. The first one was clinched 100 years ago today, of course. |

Ditto, my first games were sometime in the 80s although I barely remember them. But I DO remember white socks, think they had a blue trim at the top with like a tiny blue pennant dangling down from the trim. |

See Big Kev missed some of the more important bit in his diary this evening…like the colour of the socks on next years home kit…in fact no mention of kits, manufacturers or when on sale at all…just all about being positive and asking us to forget last seasons ‘leaders’ are next seasons ‘leaders’

Black or Blue and white hooped socks are proper traditional Town colours. They're not, though. We've had just as many seasons and just as much success in white socks, until we artificially manufactured this idea about black socks. Yes, black in the 20s. But in living memory we've worn white. 7 out of the last 15 kits have had black socks 😂😂 |
