Says almost all the right things, with Breitenreiter the big elephant in the room. Add usual, seems to get it and he seems to care, in so much as someone running a business cares about their customers.
A few days after the end of the season he can't really say much more. But at least it shows he is aware of the mood.
Nagle doesnt seem like the type who enjoys having failures on his CV.
That excites me because I think he will do whatever he can to make this club a success because otherwise it reflects badly on him. In for a penny in for a pound.
I had time for this guy, but I think this is all bollocks
Everything said in this letter makes sense
It’s what’s not said that is what’s worrying
Yes, we’ve been a shit show for years, but theres no acknowledgement that there were some abysmal decisions taken this season.
We could’ve stayed up this year and sorted out the mess this summer were it not for these decisions.
Who’s to say, we’re not going to make the same abysmal decisions next year? Funding will make no difference if we do.
I can now see us struggling with relegation next year, and the fan base will be turning against this guy.
Intentions are good, and I actually like him, but in this business, I suspect doesn't know what he's doing.
Exactly. My concern is that he is seeking to blame what's gone on before rather than acknowledge the real reasons we got relegated. Ie DM, transfers, choice of next coach and timing of it. And of course the common theme of terrible decision making on the football side.

It is a fair observation, the issues of the past (before KN) are valid but the choices made this season have not done anything to address those problems. You could actually make a credible argument that what has happened in the last year has exacerbated them.
I still don't completely get why our summer window was so poor. There is a suggestion that we were restricted, by FFP/FFI/time it took to complete, but I think the truth might be "we'll be ok with what we have". Had NW stayed longer that might have been true but there were a few who called out (to be fair I wasn't one of them) that the squad had inherent weaknesses. For whatever reason that was ignored/disregarded. I don't really care why NW went but the appointment of Moore, aligned with the available squad, was ill considered (in my view anyway). Many weren't convinced at the time and so it proved. The January window now looks like bailing out the sinking ship with a bean can. AB's appointment? Credible on paper, but we still don't really know if he's any good or not, and that's ignoring that we might be looking for the 4th manager in the Nagle era.
Those issues are all real. I fully accept that they cannot be changed, and I very much welcome the acknowledgement that things need to change and learning from the past, but there needs to be some reference to those mistakes and what was learned.
The diary is massively important in addressing many things. Yes I completely understand not raking over specifics of people but it will be telling what is addressed and how it is presented. I don't understand the reluctance to have an in depth interview with the BBC or, even better, one of the podcasts. Whatever people may think about WYS they are professional journalists who would ask respectful researched questions. The podcasts are presented by rounded people who also think things through, they would be entirely credible too and represent the fanbase (to a large degree). I am naturally suspicious of anyone who chooses to control any narrative. This is why the questions chosen to be answered at the Q&A will be interesting. Any hint of obfuscating or "cherry picking" (the questions answered) will be very obvious.
I am still generally hopeful that Mr Nagle will be an outstanding owner for Town, but after his 1st season he has a lot to do to prove my hope isn't misplaced.
It’s a load of words without actually saying anything. Not making excuses, but blaming the past? Not saying that things haven’t worked, but continuing to back the plans in place? It clear as day that putting the SC prices up would be financial suicide, and the reasons they can’t put them up are still in control of the shit show. Nagle might be a top bloke, or just a bag of wind, fact is as long as Cartwright and Edwards are his men on the ground, there’s no fucking chance of any success.

If at some point he says we should all buy season tickets to watch the Giants I have some pitchforks and burning torches left over from the Ken Day era I’m happy to let people use 😄
I'm not sure what people want? Which ever way you look at it, actions speak louder then words. He says he knows it's been shit and they're going to do something about it.
Like I posted a while ago on a different thread, KN will NEVER please everyone.
Some people want more communication and love his Twatter musings. Some people want more communication but HATE his Twatter musings. Some people think we're not entitled to more communication. Some people want AB to stay. Some people want to drive AB to the airport today. Some people like having Justasmithers on here to pass on thoughts and ideas. Some people think it's just a propaganda tool. Some people think HE'S a tool, propaganda or otherwise Some people like the dog badge. Some people HATE the dog badge.
KN should just do what he thinks is best and bollocks to our views because (as DATM shows regularly) we will NEVER all have the same views on the minutiae, we just want Town to do good things.
