Thought it was breve to publicly announce difficulties Ben had this season personally.
The unrestricted on Ben showed what a nice lad he is. New family this year and the challenges that come with it.
Since Yutas injury, Ben seemed to be pushed into the first team and wasn’t really ready.
I do wonder the last 2 x seasons the damage done to the young players mentally with such chaos and instability wouldn’t help

Fair play to the kid for being open. The jury is out as to whether he is a long-term option for us.
Hopefully above all he can get the support he needs. There is no reason in the world anyone should struggle on, no matter what, as there is so much support out there.
Even on a sub-board on here.

Brave lad it take some guts to do that and it just shows how strong mentally you have to be playing in front of thousands of people every week. That is another reason why i never boo a player, people don't realize the mental effect that can have on a player. Modern day life is a challenge these days and lets hope the lad gets better soon.

Full respect. It really does make sense of his performances. Nobody can doubt his effort, he has always given his all. It is also clear he is a talent.
During his struggles, It really shocks me that Warnock/Moore (whoever was in charge) hadn't identified the issue.
I really hope he can get himself in the positive mindset and be a huge part of our challenge next season.

To be fair to the numerous managers this season if someone is struggling it can still be very easy to wear the mask at work and not have anybody really notice if they dont hsve a reason to look for anything.
Fair play to him for speaking out as well, not sure if he'll make it here but the relegation could actually do him good if the new manager sees something from him in pre-season and he can get an good run of games together, at 23 he needs it now really.
That being said it's not the most important thing in the world.

One of those players that doesn't really do anything. But I wish him all the best and hope he's got his issues sorted, and is feeling better.

Looked extremely promising when he broke through and it was no surprise he was being linked to other clubs, but clearly this season his form has suffered quite a bit.
Hopefully he can get over any issues hes having and get back to showing that excellent potential again.

Hopefully a break now will help him rest and reset physically and mentally.

It's difficult for us as fans because we only see the end product, i.e. the performance on the pitch. We hear rumours from people in the know, we hear rumours from people making them up but none of us truly know what is going on behind the closed doors of the changing room.
I hope that Ben gets any help he needs and comes back feeling refreshed and better placed to tackle whatever is thrown at him.
In the end, we can only judge on the performance and not the factors behind it. A bad performance is easy to dismiss as not caring or not trying and that may well be true for some players, but it seems Ben has had more to deal with this season.
It's been awful these past seasons, (last seasons escape aside) but I think now is the ideal to get behind our players, staff, new management and executives and pull together. It's an opportunity for a fresh start.
I know I'm rambling but it's early and I've only had one coffee 😀 UTT

I obviously wasn’t aware of any issues with Ben but i’d said before he was potentially the flop of the season.
With gaping holes at full back he should have been playing every week but i’m afraid to say i can’t remember a single good game he had.
Purely from Ben’s career point of view relegation might actually not be a bad thing.

Respect for coming out and taking responsibility. I think with a good, positive manager who can nurture and help these young lads, boost their confidence - like Warnock did, he and several others can have a good impact for Town this season. These are all young kids really, even the older players are relatively young men. Maturity comes with age and experience.

Good lad realising he doesn't need to try to solve things on his own.
I wish him all the very best in getting back to where he wants to be, all the very best Ben.
