If the reason AB walked was not for money (Presumably) then you have to say no manager on the list is out of reach........Question is are the big bucks still on the table & do they want to work in league one? Kev dog is putting his money where his mouth is off the field so far, bringing chief officers in from Villa and Sheffield United, without the same sort of FFP rules applying in L1 as the championship, I’m sure money will not be a barrier to getting his chosen man. I heard this in his diary re new staff but can’t seem to find any news of it anywhere? What roles have they got?

The Villa guy is CFO. He’s been there a couple of months or so. Other guy I believe is CRO.

All those voting Rosenier, were you enjoying Darren Moores tactics? I don't recall him using any tactics, unless 9,1,0 can be countered as a tactic.

It's not a name that does anything to raise excitement but Alex Neil seems a decent fit. History of promotion out of Lg1, takes no crap and has top end championship experience as well.

I'd take Heckingbottom all day long me. Thought he should have been our last choice too

We need a League One promotion specialist (yes, I'm wildly optimistic based on nothing more than wishful thinking).
Only one man for the job.
Someone at the club will have Simon Grayson's number, right?
(Note - this is not a serious suggestion)

Some of the names are laughable!!, we now in division 3, any manager would be well wary of taking the hot seat at this club, outside of Huddersfield the club is being laughed at, it's so sad how the club has blown the chance it was presented with, fans need to take the blue tinted glasses off and realise what a mess the club is in, thankfully they have an owner who is willing to back financially, but he knows nothing about the task he is presented with, I don't criticise people who do the recruitment but look at the majority of the squad that are still under contract!!, but the happy clappers are happy because prices were frozen!!.

All those voting Rosenier, were you enjoying Darren Moores tactics? Or Corberan's. Corberan's yes. I know that is a minority view, before anyone feels the need to respond. 🤪

I wonder how many agents are getting in touch offering their client's services or if we are trying to entice candidates?
Given we said we wanted Andre to stay does that indicate the identity we were trying to create? How far on were we identifying players? Has anything changed in who we might want now (that AB has declined)?
Whoever it is needs to be a strong personality who isn't afraid to dictate to KN and co what they want.
We'll soon see how far Mr Nagle's ambitions go.

Given newmill terriers post saying we basically offered andre everything he wanted plus significant promises in the summer,do we think the new bloke will get the same promises? If so you would imagine we should be able attract some of the better players for the level.Get the right manager along with that and we should have a good season.

You would think that once KN has set the budget, one would assume on the promises made to AB the money could still be in the pot. Depending on who the new manager is he could try and get just as much out of him, but no guarantee.

Putting Will Still up as an actual suggestion is embarrassing. As if he's going to come to fucking League 1 and away from lovely freshly baked baguettes.
Also fucking Frank Lampard. Jesus Christ, we might be shit but fuck me, Lampard couldn't manage a pub team.

I'd prefer my great great great great grandad to him and he's not really got much management experience or living in the past 100 years experience

Need an experienced, hard nosed bastard who'll take no shit and sort this fragile squad of ours out. For that reason it's got to be Pearson (health permitting).

Corberan's yes. I know that is a minority view, before anyone feels the need to respond. 🤪 Who really cares about tactics when the results are there as they were with Corberan? If a team is winning then the vast majority of fans will be happy whatever style is played.

The players at Stoke were running round high-fiving each other in training the day after he'd been sacked. He wasn't well liked there at all.
